Lol I'm just lucky my OH wasnt around as he still believes girls just dont do that! We've been living together for a few months now so would think he would have sussed it by now lol :p

    :rotfl:

I've been with my OH for 3 and a half years, but still run all the taps in the bathroom anytime I need a poo incase he hears me!:o:rotfl:

I don't know why I do this, as I'm not exactly ladylike the rest of the time!:D

this thread is so funny !!! i am loving it.

it is so embarrasing, going to a public toilet like Debehamns and knowing everyone is getting after you have gone, i can not do a number 2 there. only wee; yesterday i went to a restaurant with my family and the bloke before me did poo and when i came in, it was really smelly but i was desperate and went in anyway, i can honestly say it took me 3 seconds to get in and get out, and for some reason i had to tell my family that the toilet was smelly just in case they went in afterwards and thought it was me.

  • This is a brilliant thread! Ok then hands up who doesn't poop? That's right-no one!!! So don't feel embarrassed at a perfectly natural body function, we are all filled with gas and hot air:)
My boyf and I make a joke out of it-we blame the poop on creaking floorboards/a mouse sneezing/family of ducks flying past the window....the more outrageous the excuse the better. :D

Hee hee I always tell anyone I'm with if it was smelly before got in there! :rotfl:

Sara- I used to be funny about using the loo at work/out in public/ or even someone's house, but I just tell myself loos are provided to be used and not just for wees. Gripewater works well as does Remgels (silver pack, extra strength I think). ;)

    Sara,
This has turned into a bit of a 'joke' thread - hope you don't mind!

If nothing else, please realise that a lot of us are toe curlingly embarrassed at times by making a noise or smell & have developed some ingenious strategies for covering it up or denying it. Or, as has been pointed out - the males are proud of it. Hope you're helped in some way by the humour.

This thread is very reassuring for me - I get so embarassed! Not as bad now with my OH but I used to hold it in for hours so I was really uncomfortable...until one sneaked out! :rotfl:

I have to admit, I tend to go for No2's when we are out! lol. I live in the upstairs of a converted house and so the toilet it right outside the living room, and my poops smell bad... :(

When OH is over at the weekends I hold it in until we go out somewhere lol.. I just can't bring myself to do it at home when he's there, and if I do because I'm ill or something then I tell him to turn the tv up & close the door! He always makes jokes about it..

I also am 'not allowed' to fart infront of him.. but he lets rip all the time and say 'I can't help it, it's bad to keep it in'... Erm! What do you make me do!

We went to a wedding last weekend and when I had a shower I had to do a poop, so I turned the shower on which was like Niagra Falls and thought I was safe, a little fart came out but I thought, nah! no way would he hear that. Low and behold later on he ask if I had done a big fart in the shower! hahahaha - of course I denied it!

  • Great thread, OP. Always good to be reassured we're not alone in feeling like this.
