Yeah the flakey bits side at faced down. I think its because when brought it thats way it came so it would taken too much thought process to turn it over.
Thanks for your help. I will leave it till next spring and redo it.0 -

Isn't it "bought" (from, to buy) rather than "brought" (from, to bring)? Sorry mrcol1000 but that one really bugs me. (and "should of" rather than "should have" or "should've")
Firstly anyone who corrects someone on a forum almost always makes a mistake that someone picks up on which has been proven.
Secondly I do not see how you correcting my grammar contrubites to my shed problem.
Thirdly. Correcting someones grammar on a forum? Really? Nothing better to do?0 -

Just to go back to thread, the felt your father in law put on has been put on the wrong way around. Not to worry though it should last the winter providing it is well nailed down.
Next year or this year if you feel the need, get some more roofing felt and put it over the top of the old felt - use the old stuff as an underlay, personally I would use the cold felt adhesive and just tack the edges down.
Make sure that you start at the front / back edge and lay the roll side to side working towards the apex of the roof, make sure the rolls overlap a good 3 - 4 inches, at the apex lay the roll equally over both sides so there are no cracks in the apex. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -

Doesn't it annoy you when people post in forums and only use lower case font. Ormus the W in well should be a capital.
Listen i'm the first to get annoyed about how slap-dash some people are on here in their use of the English language, but shouldn't we try and remember it's only a forum, and it's the school holidays so it's not as if teacher is sitting behind us marking our work out of ten.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

If you are picking up ormus about capitals, then perhaps you should have capitalised your own I. I think that you will find that he was being ironic.
It seems apparent to me that teachers have not been correcting spelling for many a long year, which is probably the main reason that spelling and punctuation is so atrocious in this country. Possibly they cannot spell correctly themselves.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
27col i'm sure Ormus knows exactly what i was saying.
I 'think most will realise that it's not just Ormus who was trying to be ironic.
Read back some of my previous posts you'll find many are said with tongue-in-cheek.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
