Shed felt roof put on upside down?

Hope this doesn't sound really stupid but I have brought a house. The shed roof had a rip in the felt and was letting water in. So I brought some felt to recover it. However my father in law in his wisdom did it for me and put the felt on upside down. So the grey hard side is facing down.
Do you think this will be okay or should I wait a few months and get it redone?

I will be ok for a couple of years, but leave the original (upside down) felt on and put a cheap shed roof felt over the top just to make sure.
Or you could paint it over with a rubber/mastic liquid but this could be more expensive than a second covering of felt.Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0 -
Isn't it "bought" (from, to buy) rather than "brought" (from, to bring)? Sorry mrcol1000 but that one really bugs me. (and "should of" rather than "should have" or "should've")0

Are you sure it's upside down?? The side covered with all the little greeney, flakey bits is the side that should be on top and exposed to the elements."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

It bugs me when a new sentence is started in parentheses and the first letter isn't capitalised...
I wont even start the debate again on whether a new sentence should be started with "and". (In, our out, of parentheses)
:cool:If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

What a strange mistake to make. If you are careful, you might be able to prise the nails out and re-felt it.0

I think they were meaning that people DO use "should of", instead of the correct "should have" or "should've".
That's the way I read it...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
