  • Just to let you all know that Vax does not deliver on weekends and their delivery times by courier can take up to 10 working days and that INCLUDES this sale...sorry to bust your bubble!!!
  • And if you place your order over the weekend, they will start processing it on the beggining of the week.

I'm with the vax avoiders on this one. we had a vax pet vacuum cleaner, bagless, worst one i've ever had. really bad suction and cleaning the filter out at least twice every use was a nightmare. a costly mistake and I will never buy one again. Be warned!

Which? rates Vax as very poor to average for vacuums and worse for carpet cleaners. I passed but thanks OP.

I feel mean but every time somebody posts about the Vax pet vacumn cleaners being poor I am a bit comforted that it wasn't just something I was doing wrong!
I still can't believe I spent £90 on a hoover that won't suck anything up - I tried so hard to perserve with it - but alas no good - I really hope that there haven't been too many orders for this model.
I noticed that the Vax pet cleaner (purple model) was reduced to £49.99 in Tescos direct this morning - what a waste of money :(

Vax had major problems with design & manufacturing issues some years back.

They have changed from the better & are up there with Dyson in terms of sales across Europe.

Obviously they are going to come up with a product that doesnt perform as it should every now & again, just look at the new Apple iPhone, it happens.

As for your vacuum cleaner, maybe you should of returned it as non functioning? I would have. I also know that Vax would of wanted to resolve your problem because believe it or not they do not want this sort of review posted on websites because it is bad for business.

Vax have a long warranty on most of their products now, delivery is top notch (see above) & they are a long way from the company I first heard about 16 years ago.

They have regular sessions with people off the street to help improve their products & get feedback. When something is wrong they change it for the better.

All in all, today, it is not a bad company.
