Thanks thriftylynny and welcome
The OCM is the Oil Cleansing Method, see full instructions here:-

You can order castor oil off the internet and I just mix it with normal sunflower oil.
I try to do this at least a couple of times a week although it doesn't always work out like that because I am a lazy so and so
Another thing i have been doing (not on the days that I use the OCM) is once I have wiped all my make-up off is just massage in a couple of drops of Bio Oil all over my face and neck. It smells wonderful and is supposed to be good at minimising fine lines. Well at least I hope it does.....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I've got problems with my plumbing
My boiler has started dripping . We seem to have plenty of hot water and the heating is fine but I have got a plumber to look at it tomorrow afternoon. I truly hope this isn't going to be expensive because I haven't got any boiler coverand there is only £26 in my emergency account.....

Been for my first run of the week today. If it's dry tomorrow I will go again and I have a pole class in the evening so that will be 3 lots of exercise done and it won't even be the middle of the week. Am toying with doing the Shred that everyone's talking about
Need to book up DD's birthday party. i have a friend who has a cupcake business and she also does parties where the kids (or adults) can decorate 4 cakes. I figure this will be a bit different to all the other parties and it also means I will be in close proximity to one of my favourite things ever, buttercream  throw in a picnic tea, pass the parcel and a few other games and it should be a nice afternoon.
Got a little bit of ironing to do then will settle down for the new Lynda La Plante thing that's on.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Was re-reading my above post and realised if I've got a pole class tomorrow then my legs need epilating. Badly. Cue mad panic. Managed to get them done and painted my toenails and fingernails and slathered with body lotion during the ad-breaks in Above Suspicion. This is the most well groomed I've looked for ages.

Blimmin nail varnish has chipped already
Got a free sample of hand cream from L'Occitane after decorating a xmas tree on their website before xmas. It should have been a body lotion but they'd run out but actually the handcream is much better as it will last me longer.
£1.10 PAD to Barclaycard
£6.35 on OnePoll
Nice and dry here and not cold either so going for a run at lunchtime. Will be leaving early to get home for the plumber.
Pole class tonight. I've only just stopped hurting from last weekIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Good pole class last night. A nice group of girls and I am not the oldest
. Or the worst
Watched the new Ruth Jones thing that was on Sky 1 on Friday - Stella. About a single mum. I thought it was really funny.
Very very quiet at work so I have been doing surveys all morning. Mainly on sites that I have neglected over the last couple of months so it's surprising that they are still sending me the invites
Going to count up all my coppers that are in the jar in the kitchen. Am hoping for about a tenner but seriously have no idea how much will be in there. I've had it for ages but haven't really been putting anything in it for about a year.

I have booked our holiday :j A week at Centre Parcs in the summer. Had to pay the deposit (£123.35) but don't need to pay the balance until end of May. I don't exactly have all the money for the deposit (or rather my little red cashbook says I don't, the bank says otherwise
) but I get paid in less than 2 weeks and (fingers crossed) should get some maintenance next week. I have £50 already to put towards it and I will probably transfer the remainder of the emergency fund over too (£26) so things look a bit healthier. Psychologically this is better for me to see less of an o/d position
than have money sitting around in an account doing nothing.
Need to hope that the boiler isn't too bad more than ever now  but seeing as I have been really good with money this month this isn't as bad as it could have been.
With any luck all credits will be going in before any of the larger debits go outIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
