My hair has turned out OK. It feels in really lovely condition and it has covered the grey which was the main thing
.
What's with everyone having grey hair so young these days  Grey roots are the most depressing thing ever. In the fairly recent past nobody our age had grey hair. My cheeky hairdresser says he loves grey roots because they keep him in a job!
This is what I use to cover them when they are starting to show. http://www.amazon.co.uk/BUMBLE-HAIR-POWDER-BROWN-125g/dp/B0018C1GBG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1305030921&sr=8-2

I'm 39 next month! Never had a grey hair until I had my DD. Hmmmmm........
I think women have always dyed their hair. Thanks for the Bumble tip, I've never heard of that. Might be pricey but I wouldn't need loads so should last ages. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

£23.10 on OnePoll
Just been for my 3rd run of the week, we managed to dodge the showers. i feel all virtuous now so even if it pours down tomorrow it doesn't matter because I have done my 3. Pole class tomorrow night then that's my exercise done for the week.
Got the Valued Opinions app for my phone. i hope their surveys are a bit more frequent than those on the OnePoll app which on my last look still didn't work :mad:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Had a real shock this evening. I got my electric bill and they said my DD payments had been reviewed and I now need to pay them £330 a month
After ranting and raving about it (and a few tears) I took a closer look then realised that the 'day' reading they had was actually the combined 'day' and 'night' figures - a difference of nearly 4000 units!
I rang them up and after holding for over half an hour (during which time I managed to clean the bathroom, get the washing in and get tomorrow's breakfast things ready) I spoke to a really polite woman whp sorted it all out for me. She even confirmed that the figure I worked it out to be (£21 in credit) was correct.
I should have been more rational at the start and realised that it coudn't possible have been that high - we live in a 2 bedroom terrace and are out 5 days a week!
That's enough drama for me for one eveningIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Feeling extremely pleased with myself as I've just done my 4th run of the week :j I can have my red thai curry for lunch tomorrow completely guilt-free
£23.30 on OnePoll - the surveys seem to have dried up a bit since I pointed out that they are being more generous than everIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Spent a fortune (well to me anyway) in Ikea yesterday. On the plus side I am now the proud owner of a new dining room table and chairs, 2 cushions, 2 new saucepans and some fabric that I will turn into a nice cushion cover.
I bought DD a stool for her bedroom. It's sugar pink and it was only £2.85! So, I have got back my Lloyd Loom chair that was in her room. It's now in the corner of my room and that is what I am going to make the cushion cover for. Hope my sewing machine still works - it's not been out of its box for nearly 10 years
I was up till gone midnight last night assembling the table and chairs. My thumb is really blistered from all the screwing. It looks nice anyway and because it's oblong (the table that is) I can now get a table runner! I've always wanted a table runner and my last table was round so couldn't really have one.
£24.45 on OnePoll - getting there
Been for my first run of the week - start as I mean to go on.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Dropped DD off at school then dashed to the tip before work to get rid of our old table and chairs. The :money: in me knows I should have sold it but it really was very dated and grotty, scratched and covered in felt tip - it really had to go. The downstairs looks lovely now.
I think I've put the kiss of death on OnePoll since I said it was dishing out more surveys - it's been really mean! Up to £24.90 now...
Just back from second run of the week. Finally I feel like I am getting back into it. Not been enjoying it since before the snow back in November! It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
£25.10 on OnePoll
£10 M&S voucher received from Valued Opinions
Just been setting up my wireless router that I got from Virgin. It was very easy! It should now be superfast. Eventually I would like to get rid of this desktop PC and get a laptop. Then I could get rid of the desk it's on which is taking up too much room.
Loving my new table now I have cleared all the stuff around it. Not such a bad buy after allIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I did that - got rid of the desktop before Xmas and then slung out the cluttered desk;) Something went wrong with the computer so rather than get it fixed I just packed it away up the attic - we all have laptops anyway. Much nicer without the cluttered desk in the kitchen/diner. I bought a little cupboard instead which is much neater!
Mind you - my laptop lives on the dining table with books surrounding it...I have a mouse too as it's easier...I'm so old:rotfl::rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
