Sounds like a lovely weekend. The sun is shining here too. How come you get free entry with last years tickets? Very MSE that:money:

Leeds Castle tickets are valid for a year (they should be at those prices ;)) and Kent Life I bought a yearly ticket in August and was refunded for our July visit's ticket. Also with this one you get an extra 10% off anything you buy there from the gift shop to the cafe.

Yes so 2 days out has only cost me about £13 :money:

I have completely fallen off the MSE wagon :o. I knew I would.

    On Wednesday I bought:-

A wok - from BH* reduced from £30 to £12
A skirt - from Martks & Sparks (Indigo collection) £28 but used £15 voucher so real cost to me only £13
    A breadbin - from Arg*s £14.99 but had £5 voucher so £9.99 really.
Various cleaing product from Wilkins*n (I can't help myself!) £12.45

Actually it doesn't look that bad written down with all the savings.

Anyhow I spent nearly £65 in Mr M's today which is shocking considering my weekly budget is £40. We have loads of food in now though so maybe I'll spend less next week :rotfl:

Ooh forgot to say - I rang the CSA yesterday. I was already in a foul mood as I'd just had a SECOND set of passport photos taken and they are just as bad as the first set...another £5 wasted so I thought if I need to take it out on someone I'll take it out on them.

I rang to ask if they'd received any money from ex's employer and they have!! :j They will be sending it on to me once it's cleared so allowing for all the blinking bank holidays that are in the way I should have it by next weekend :j

I think that's all. DD is upstairs doing her homework that we have just remembered :o I have a loaf doing in the oven and I am just going to put our traditional Friday night curry on. I need to have a whizz round tidying up so i will do that while it's cooking. Got a few bits to iron then we will be all set for the weekend. BBQ tomorrow....

Had a lovely Easter weekend - loads of lovely food but had a thunderstorm at the BBQ!! Loads of sheet lightning and fork lightning.

Need to run off all the chocolate I've eaten recently but there's something wrong with the showers here at work - they smell vile - i think something's got into the water tank and died.........

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get my maintenance tomorrow.....please....

I really enjoyed the royal wedding today. I actually have it on again now :D. I thought she looked lovely, very elegant, but I must admit I was a bit disappointed with the dress. Too much lace for my liking, too covered up and a bit safe really.

Did food shopping and it came to £49 something. Not bad considering I bought a bit of stuff for a little BBQ we are having tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow afternoon we are going to the 'Sweeps Festival' in Rochester. It's an annual thing - lots of different morris dancing groups from around the country, some very traditional, others more scary looking with blacked up faces, doing dances with big sticks and accompanied by loud drums. I love it :)

I liked the lace but not the big skirt but I suppose that's required for a royal wedding. Didn't hear one person criticise it on tv though, all the fashionista people said how perfect it was.

Don't suppose anybody told you why the money hasn't arrived?

I liked the back of the dress, the bustle bit and I liked the shape of the top and neckline etc but I didn't like the overall shape. i think if I ever got mattied I would have to have a bodice type top, straighter skirt and a wonderful bustle at the back ;)

I haven't rung the CSA yet. I didn't have time yesterday - you generally have to have at least half an hour free to call them - I know they've got it, it's just whether they have sent it. I think they are using the bank holidays as an excuse for sending money out slowly....or am I just an old cynic???
