A lad in the office has just announced that he's just spent £233 on a pair of shorts, a shirt and a belt!! That's more than I've spent on clothes in the last 6 months!!

Oh to be young with no outgoings again......

That's just depressing, if I had that much to spend I'd get a good suit or coat or shoes and buy my shorts from Zara or Primark.

A lot it would seem :o Loads of great tips. I think I will series link it so I don't miss any more.

Rushes round switching all the unwanted lights off.......:o

Superscrimpers seems to be getting mentioned on loads of threads here, most people seem to be saying that the tips are nothing new to MSE fans, I've never seen it.

I love how you are using the breadmaker a lot, I have a habit of buying things, using them once or twice and then forgetting about them :o

Got halfway to work this morning and realised I'd left my handbag at Mum and Dad's when I dropped DD off  Had to drive back and get it - only 10 mins but meant i was 20 mins late for work in the end....

Just done another PineCone survey - another £3 in the pot.

Car is being cleaned today. Just aswell because DD has written 'Please clean me' on it with her finger :o We have a man that comes in and does them for £20, complete clean and valet - he really does a good job so I don't mind paying this twice a year. He'll certainly earn the money on my car!

I have just booked an appointment to see the nurse to get my ears syringed. It's not until Wednesday though! They really are terribly blocked up and I have been putting drops in since Monday :(. I think I'm getting a cold though because I've been really aching and have a sore throat so it's probably all connected. This 'deafness' is really making me feel out of sorts though.

    £14.95 on OnePoll.:)

Today is deadline day for ex's employers to send the maintenance in to the CSA. I really want to ring them to find out if it's there but am scared to in case the answer is no :(

I get paid next thursday anyway but that's not the point. If the money doesn't go in next week then I will have to wait until next month.

Anyway I am happy today because this is my last day at work until after Easter :) and we are off to the pub at lunchtime for delicious thai food - if that doesn't cure my cold nothing will......:D

I can hear again :j:j:j it feels fabulous. My ears just popped after lunch and have been fine ever since. I will keep the appointment until about Monday just in case they block up again overnight. Must have been the thai that did it :rotfl:

    £15.50 on OnePoll now.

Got my £3 for the PineCone survey that I did the other day. They really pay up promptly. OnePoll take note.....

I have er.....acquired....a pinboard from work. It was ordered about 3 years ago and we have never used it so I said I would take it home and use it. I really need it to get some of the carp off my breakfast bar and get back to actually having a breakfast bar again. At the moment it is my dumping ground for everything.

Did the food shopping tonight. I had £44.15 left in my grocery account and it came to £50.63. So I am over by £6.48 this month. I'm quite pleased with this though it was a shame to fall on the last hurdle. I have had to buy extra for next week as I am off although there are a couple of cream cakes in the fridge with my name on that really shouldn't have gone in the trolley ;)

Loads to do today and I am actually in the mood to do it all :)

Have showered, had breakfast and put another loaf on. I have fiddled about with the ingredient quantities so we get a smaller loaf as we don't seem to be getting through the 1000g loaf in 3 days.

    Jobs for today:-

    Clean up kitchen
    Put washing on
Strip beds and put fresh bedding on
    Hoover upstairs
Hoover downstairs if I have time and can be bothered.

DD started the polishing down here and has now lost interest so I will have to finish that off.

    Off I go.....

Phew, just caught up. You are doing really well. Pah to hurt boobs. Moo has a tendency to head butt me right on my boob when he is scared or excited by something when on his lead. And it really hurts!

Erm - the vinyl sounds like your equivalent to this.
Remember though, one day he will be where we are now saying Oh if only............... Gosh I am getting old and grumpy.

This is very true but in my defence I don't think I ever spent that amount in one go!

Had a lovely weekend. Went to WLM's stepbrother's on Saturday evening and had chinese. I met his stepmum for the first time. Just his Dad and Stepdad to go now and I have got the full set :D

We went up to London to watch the marathon on Sunday. Very good. We found a spot by St Katherine's Docks and had a packed lunch. It was ruined only by the fact that I had had a migraine since Saturday afternoon. It's only just gone now.

Yesterday DD and I went to Leeds Castle. We like it there and it was even better becasue we still had our tickets from last year so got in for free. A saving of £29 :T All I spent was £4.70 on 2 icecreams and a pencil. We did the maze twice and have now craked it so next time we go we'll get to the middle in no time :)

Today we went to Museum of Kent Life. Also got in free because we still had our tickets from last year. A saving of £15.95 this time. Probably spent about £8 there on icecream, tea and some asparagus from the farm shop. I love asparagus :)

Tomorrow we will be doing an easter egg hunt at the local farm. It's not hard work at all because they churn out the same clues every year but DD likes it and I get a chance to spend £3.50 on some useless bit of tat for her :o

Just a trip into town tomorrow whwre I WILL spend money because I will go into Wilkinsons and I just can't help myself in there :o
