    Not a NSD day today.

I have just popped to the next town to get my Mum her Mother's Day present from Boots. She likes the Protect & Perfect so i got her the Intense day cream, got my double points and the free gift!

I popped into Tesco because I was going to get some Olay and Ariel because they are so much dearer than Asda. they didn't have the Olay so i didn't bother with the Ariel either :(. I did treat myself to a smoked salmon and cream cheese sarnie though :D so Tesco probably has the last laugh on me now :o but I am really enjoying the sandwich.

Thanks. I am very proud. It also flies in the face of all those newspaper reports that say that children of single parents do worse than those whose parents are together. Not that I am advocating singleparenthood, it's just I have always felt that we have needed to prove ourselves more.

Yep, I agree with you:o Although I've just been on my own with my 2 for 4 years...they have always been fab workers, clever and consciencious (sp?!)... not a minute of trouble when ex and I split. They've both gone to secondary with a very grown up attitude...dd1 got level 7 in KS3 maths recently and is doing GCSE this yr (in Y9)...I'm very proud too:D
School reports always say polite, responsible and behave beautifully which is what makes you very proud. Ok, enough praising them...they also argue and moan and drive me mad, but they're great...as 13 and 11 yr old go:rotfl::rotfl:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

It's things like this that makes everything else worthwhile. Not only is it nice to hear how well they are doing at school but that they are nice people to have around too.

OnePoll is on ANOTHER go slow. Spent 20 mins on a survey, got to 107% (!) then it threw me out . When I went back into it it took me to the beginning of the survey again . I have sent them another moody email. I am turning into a grumpy woman ;)

£7.55 on surveys so far. Still no £40 though....

£70 has tracked for Home Ins on Quidco :T

CSA rang. His employer will be sending the money on their next payroll run which is 15 April so I should get the money (all the arrears plus another 2 weeks which have mounted up) on about 20 April. Let's see shall we....?

No more eBay sales but have 5 watchers on 3 items :)

Feeling a bit bleurgh today. I'm really achey and think I have a cold coming. Hope I feel better before tonight's pole class or if not before Saturday night - we are going to a 40th birthday party.

I had an ebay sale yesterday - £85:beer:
But, it's all dd2's - she sold some build-a-bears with clothes and wardrobe...so I owe her the money, but still happy to sell it:D

Darn Onepoll is driving me mad too - it was dead slow yesterday afternoon so I took ages doing one very dull survey then had to restart:( But...I am up to £18.95 now:T

Wow you're doing really well. We have quite a bit of B-a-B stuff but DD has only just got into it. Must remember for the future though ;)

£18.95 - you've got there really quick! Would be even quicker if the site wasn't mucking about........

I feel quite yuck now. Very achey. Could be my cold, could my pole class. I was the only one there! Just me and the teacher so a really intense lesson with no real breaks. Managed to do some stuff that I haven't had any confidence with before so I'm pleased with that. Will work on it more next week.

Had a renewal quote through from sainsburys for my home insurance. It's £80 more than I managed to get online and no cashback or vouchers either! To be fair I probably tweaked things a bit when I got my quote but not much. I will cancel the renewal.

Off to make my scrambled egss on toast. Maybe that will make me feel a bit better. Weird cos I don't even feel hungry, v unlike me.
