Once I get going with ebay I do get on a roll...I start looking round the house for things I can sell;)
I think the Easter hols will see me start to list Spring/summer clothes...have bags full of decent stuff. And these darn ipods:rotfl: It is quite addictive once you get into it and seeing sales! Just a shame it takes me so long to actually get my a*se in gear:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I have been busy busy busy
Renewed my home insurance through Quidco. Got it for £5 pcm cheaper than last year plus £40 Sainsbury's vouchers and £71 cashback (i think it has tracked).
Wow if I could get offers like that here I might like renewing boring things like insurance. There was one insurance company on the Irish cashback site and it wasn't the cheapest so no good to me.CSA - they have rung back and yes his employer has been taking the money from him but not sending it on to the CSA. That's actually even worse IMO because I'm sure my ex would be really annoyed that not only is he paying up but the money isn't actually getting to his daughter
That is SO UNFAIRDo payroll people not understand how important that money is to the people receiving it  I can totally understand why you are annoyed. All the phone calls and chasing it up is an absolute nuisance too, very stressful.

It is soooo addictive. I have sold another 3 things since I last posted. i think that is 9 in total now :j
Just listed another 3.
Strangely enough I listed a halloween fancy dress outfit last night and it sold within 2 hours! Completely out of season too.
I wish I had more stuff to sell. I told WLM not to be surprised if the house is sold by the time he comes round on saturday :rotfl:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Could you use the ebay money until tha CSA money arrives?
It is possible to shop for things that would sell on ebay but you are doing so well with it that mightn't be the worst idea.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Another busy night
Had DD's parents evening. Not so much evening as 10 minutes....
Her teacher is very pleased with her and with any luck she should start juniors at Level (Stage?) 3. We just need to work on her punctuation which we did this evening.
Came home, cooked a chilli (from scratch2 large portions left for another 2 meals), put DD to bed, did some washing, hoovered all down here, listed more stuff on Ebay, parcelled up the stuff that has sold today whilst watching the footie/listening to the radio
Will mop floors down here just before I go to bed.
I'm starting to feel a bit more positive about money. It's starting to come at me from all directions:-
Lottery
Ebay
Surveys
Cashback
CSA (eventually, hopefully)
Not large amounts, but it all helps.:)
Just going to watch the LAST EVERTwo and a Half Men.....

I'm actually OK for day to day things, just really wanted to get the passport sorted. I seem to have lots of things in the pipeline - just waiting for it to all filter through.
I know I'm in a much better position than some. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Thanks. I am very proud. It also flies in the face of all those newspaper reports that say that children of single parents do worse than those whose parents are together. Not that I am advocating singleparenthood, it's just I have always felt that we have needed to prove ourselves more. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
