OnePoll is really annoying me today. Loads of surveys but incredibly slow. £29.20 now though...getting there. It will be interesting to see if they pay me out after giving me the £40 the other week
I have spent most of it now anyway
Bought a few things on ebay. Realised to my horror that one of my Perfume Parlour oils has almost run out (Narciso Rodriguez). I have re-ordered it as well as Shanelle 55 (which I am hoping is Chanel No5) and Hyphen (which is Carolina Herrera). I love getting new perfume
It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
£35 on OnePoll but the site is really awful. I think i could get to £40 by the end of the week if it wasn't playing up so much.
I have been reading Ilona's blog. She posts on here and she was also on Superscrimpers. It's very inspiring. She has retired and (in her words) has little money and lots of time so uses the time to make the money work for her. She makes beautiful bags and she posts loads of lovely photos.
I have been trying to save more money by doing the food shop at Aldi. I have been spending the same amount but we have loads more stuff in so I won't need to spend too much this week. at least that is the plan....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Yep ! Just got there on Friday evening before I left work. I'm on 70p now. If they could only sort out their server it would be perfect because I think this time it only took me just over 3 months to get to £40, as opposed to 6 months like before. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I have been spending a bit too much recently but am due the odd credit this week so hopefully things won't look too bad by the time I get paid on friday.
CSA have sent me £99.46 - I'm not sure how many weeks this relates to because it doesn't tally with what the weekly amount should. I'm not complaining though
Child benefit is due in tomorrow so that will bump things up a bit.
I've got nearly £86 at Quidco which should come in soon. Well, whenever it appears will be welcome
....and of course my £40 OnePoll.:T
Payday Fridaybut car is being MOT'd and services on Thursday
Been for my first run of the week and made it to the top of the hill :T I never usually manage that on a Monday - I have to stop halfway up.
I need to do this though to feel good about myself....I had some extremely low self-esteem issues last week and I know I shouldn't, just feel very insecure where WLM is concerned even though he hasn't really given me any cause to feel like that. It just seems to be something that rears its ugly head every time I start to feel close to someoneI just need a kick up the backside really

Good news to CSA money:beer:
I haven't a clue what's going on with them and my money right now - they'd been writing to ex at an address they had for him 2 yrs ago...this aplication i gave them his mum's address only...but no, they go and use an old one so he only got forwarded all the letters last week:mad: Looks like they used his old job's earnings too to come up with their payment so he's objected and a reassessment is being done - they have to wait for 2 months wages of his new job tho - taking us til the end of July:mad: Soooo annoying. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very off with me, she made me feel like I shouldn't be going after more moeny from him as he already gives me some. Yes, he gave £200 in March, £50 in April and £120 in May....hardly a fair proportion on his wages.
In the meantime he's off out numerous times each week, with the new girlfriend (who is the youngest yet:eek:)...and claiming he's skint...yeah right:mad:
Oooooh, sorry for the rant on your diary;)
Fingers crossed for the car on Thursday, hopefully it'll sail thro the MOT:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Rant away, I can listen
Boo to the CSA...they really don't help themselves do they? I have found the best way to deal with them is ring up weekly to find out what is happening. I was always polite (I didn't want to be put in a 'typical single parent' bracket whatever that may be...) I always asked for a name too and wrote down everything I'd been told afterwards. How dare she be rude to you too - £120 is nowhere near enough when you have rent, food, school uniform, clubs etc to think about. Why should you pay for everything??
Keep me posted....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I have just sorted out our travel insurance for our holiday to Spain. £9.98 after following all the advice on this site :money:
Also applied for our EHIC medical insurance cards.
Just over a month to go. I can't wait.
Need to go for another run today. Really need to get my body beach fit. It was raining earlier but seems to have stopped now. So long as the weather holds out till 1pm I'll be happy.
I have been making my own body scrub (can't remember if I've put this on here already and ca't be bothered to read back either). 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp sugar and 1/2 tsp salt - mix together then use as a scrub in the bath. The sugar dissolves easily in the bathwater afterwards so no horrid griity bits leftover. I do this every Sunday and Thursday evening and have noticed a marked improvement to my skin's texture
£1.05 on OnePoll and I even had a survey sent to my iPhone yesterday - wonders will never cease....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
You can run up hills  That's impressive :T
