    'stress withdrawal headache'??

First time I've heard of one of those.

Me too. i think it means when you start to relax and are out of your usual routine. Not that I am particularly stressed, even at work

Aw polesalot, I used to get "tension headaches" when I was a uni, they're also known as stress headaches which might be what your doctor is referring to. We get so worked up in our modern lives that when we do eventually stop our body goes "gahhhhh!" Are you taking breaks at the right times and for the appropriate amount of times? 5mins break away from the pc every hour etc

Thanks I think this is what it is. Although I don't feel stressed I have had quite a lot of money stress recently so it could be that and it has to come out somewhere I guess.

My mum's friend died this morning. She was undergoing chemo and had just had her 3rd lot. DD and my mum only went to see her on Thursday. It's just so sad and although we knew it was inevitable we still thought she had more time left.

    It puts everything in perspective.

hi Polesalot, sorry to hear about your mum's friend.

You're right about perspective... and it's always a shock even when you know it's coming, I guess it's not something we can really quite prepare for.

    ((hugs))

I had parents (parent??) evening last night and had a lovely report from dd's teacher. She is already at level 3A which is what they want the children to be at when they leave year 4 and she is only two thirds through year 3 so I am really proud.

Great pole class too. I was aiming to do my shoulder mount by the end of the lesson and actually managed it before the lesson even started and I had witnesses too :T. I managed it twice more through the lesson and now have a bruised collar bone but i don't care because I DID IT :j.

For my sins (or rather for my bank balance) I am not going to do the Speed Course. I couldn't find any in this area that were less than £110 so am going to take the points and the £60 fine and just hope the insurance doesn't go up too much. My friend said hers was barely affected by her points.

    £1.30 PAD

And....drumroll....bid received on the ghastly ornament! And I listed it for £3 more than last week :D

Parents' evening, unless only you turned up then it would be parent's evening.

I'm just surprised it hasn't been renamed "Care-Givers' Evening". After all - best friends have been banned...

The insurance companies found out that a single set of points didn't affect the risk of an accident. Multiple sets usually means you drive like an idiot, so they *will* hike your premiums.
