penpals in the forces free to send "email" letters to cheer them up

My OH is away on manoevres at the moment.
He's been away Xweeks(careless talk costs lives) and I've sent him a 'Bluey' every other day - snail mail arrives quicker than the electronic stuff.
He says everyone takes an interest when you get post - especially a parcel as this generally means edible goodies to share.
He says that some people have not had one piece of post in their whole 26 week tour!

As an Ex-serviceman I've spent a lot of time away from home. There's nothing better than getting mail when you're stuck in the middle of some hole, not knowing when you'll be going home.

Well done to anyone who is or has taken the time to write. I can guarantee it's appreciated.:T :T :T

thanks, i am in regular contact with my pen pals that i have formed through this scheme, and i really enjoy it.

the more people we can get to write to service men/women the better.

my list is quite old now, is the one on the yahoo group upto date does any1 know?
i have many pms but havent been amswering as the list is out of date and dont want to waste anyones time writing to ppl who have returned home

Yahoo one is up to date. I'll keep emailing the sun to make sure it stays up to date for everyone.
Will post on here every time I update the group with a new list.
