Looks a bit silly IMO. Don't particularly like it and logo FAR too big0

I don't like their logo or their whole colour scheme/branding. Looks very dated. And their website looks like it was made using FrontPage.0

It looks like a video rental card to me0

I like the slogan: " No stupid bank rules" Its the sort of thing I would have thought up but then I would have been quoshed by someone higher telling me I can't use the word, 'stupid' in PR. Well Metro just did and good luck to them.0

They seriously need to sort out their website. The indian restaurant down the road has a more impressive site!
Its not as bad as this website This one looks like it was designed by a five year old using a 48K spectrum. They used to have nice website but some idiot must have decided this is better. Must be on drugs.0 -

That's meant to be like that and it's very clean looking. Where as the Metro Bank site just looks like it was designed and coded by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Great big horrible flash animation on the first page.0 -

Many "stupid bank rules" are there to protect the bank and its customers from fraud.
Metro Bank looks like an amateurish operation, really.urs sinserly,

I am a bit surprised, well maybe not really, at the number of posters here, who without any experience of this new bank whatsoever, are critisising it - there are even comments from people saying they should spend more on customer service and less on dog biscuits, and posting those comments on the day the bank opens for business.
Metro Bank is walking distance from where I work, but I won't be going up to open an account any time soon. I am not that fed up with my current bank and Metro has yet to launch it's online banking service. However I am equally not going to start laying into it with no justification.
For those saying it is no different to any other bank you should take a look at it's charging policy if you exceed your OD. £5 per returned item and a max of £30 charges per month. That is a substantial difference to every other high street bank right now. It should also please those here who have been campaigning against such account charges
It may be that Metro eventually turns into just another bank, or gets swallowed up by a bigger rival, but in the first week of operation, it is a bit rich to start laying into them like this without even giving them a chance0 -

LOL, what's wrong with Frontpage 98?
Seriously, the website is a very poor effort and it would not inspire confidence in me, the first bite is with the eye and even more so when it comes to my precious cash"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
