Judging by one index that has, I guess, 5% of the market using a model that compares different kinds of houses. If it makes you feel good that they appear to be going down quickly according to the smallest index then fine but if you want an index to pay attention to then you should consider Land Registry. When they show -0.5 followed by -0.9 (which if Nationwide is correct then it eventually should) then I will be able to say with some conviction that the fall in house prices is accelerating. Otherwise too small figures for me to have much faith in them (and the same would apply if it showed increases in prices).0 -
