Thanks for the nudge MrsMCawber.:T
Please put me down for £240 again for September.
Flat Eric the facility on my supermarket will show you the basket in A**a, MrT, MrS and W***r**e/Oc**o and will automatically swap e.g. a MrS own brand for an equivalent MrT own brand. It's also quite useful to click into any particular product as it will then list availability and price in the four sm for you to see. I think some people who have a little more time will use my supermarket in this way so that they can shop for items at the most competitive prices by visiting more than one store. Notjustlaura is right to say don't worry about it, give it a go and if you don't like it you can just exit the site without any cost.
4kids4cats so glad you enjoyed the marrow, OH will be very pleased when I tell him.And how fantastic that your kids are picking up such great habits. Absolutely brilliant. :money:
Cw18 what fantastic bargains you got. :T
Congrats to all those who are below, on or around budget this month. :T And especially to all the newbies who joined us recently, you have done fantastically well. :j Even if you were a little over think what it would have been if you hadn't been looking!
Planning another NSD today if all goes to plan but I won't add it to the sig until later. I also won't declare until Monday or Tuesday when I'll be sure the total won't be added to any further.
Off to put my second load of washing on the line now. Have a great day everyone.
Take care,
SpigsMortgage Free October 2013 :T0 -
Thanks for all of your hard work Mrs M!
My month now runs from 15th- 15th (pay days) so I won't start the new challenge until Sept 15th but please put me down for 4 x £45 = £180 (a 4 week month for me).
Thank you!!!0 -

I have to walk a 1½mile round trip to get a lot of my groceries. Although I do an online shop fortnightly from A$da, often, Te$co or £idl with have better offers on, so I'll walk to get them. Until A$da started their recent promotion of 2x4pints for £2, I usually have to get my milk from Ice£and too, and as I also prefer to pick my own meat, bread and fruit and veg myself, it means my shopping is often very heavy, especially when I've bought a 2.5kg bag of potatoes.
I was finding that some days I was barely able to stagger back, so I invested in a large backpack, and it's amazing how much more you can carry when it's on your back. It also leaves both hands free for bags to carry lighter items - but if you were on a bike, and were able to get everything you needed in your backpack, you wouldn't need to have bags handing off your handlebarsAug11 £193.29/£240

First shop of the month, and I spent £76.85 in lidl, but it was needed...well most of it! Some treats in there, but when they are gone they are gone.
Bottom drawer in the freezer is full of blackberrys:j
Feeling good as DH on a late shift, so I made a tuna pasta dish, and made him up a pack lunch, then put the rest away for me later. Normally I grab something bad for me, or graze when I'm on my own, as I can't be bothered.
DH has offered to cook this weekend, so now I need to pick up some bits later (Sour cream, corriander, ginger, chillis, lamb mince). Still cheaper than a takeaway I suppose, tastes fantastic, and I get the night off!Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
