Please help -dh's laptop cannot connect to wireless internet even though mine can

My dh's laptop had a trojan (now deleted) and now cannot connect to our wireless internet (ISP - Orange) although my connection is still fine.

If he left clicks on the little green wireless icon at the bottom of the screen it says 'windows can not configure this wireless connection' whereas on my laptop it gives a list of routers, one of which is our home hub. We'd be really grateful for any advice about what he should do.

    The software for your wireless card is enabled and this is now what the laptop uses to connect to your wireless router.

    What is the make and model Wifi card?
