Do you think using my lap as a 'naughty step' would be okay. Kind of if you don't stop doing that, you'll have to sit quietly with mummy. Not being able to do anything would get the message through to him... He would hate that as he's never been cuddly, but we don't want Mummy to be the evil one...
I can't do the step. He usually enjoys it, using his imagination to play. Or he just won't stay put, so I'm the one taking time out from whatever I was doing!

Don't go to war over food, if she does not want to eat take the food away, next meal time I expect she will be hungry enough to eat. We all feel like not eating sometimes.

My dd uses the naughty step with her 2. It works so well, that they have been known to take themselves off to it,(in a huff) after being naughty, before dd has had the chance to send them!! :rotfl:

They are not naughty very often!!

Forget the kids, she uses it on me. :D

this made me laugh - just last week my OH was sat on the stairs chatting to me as I was in the kitchen (its a handy place to perch while I am cooking) when one of my grand-daughters came in, stared hard at OH and said 'And why are YOU on the naughty step, Gar?' It cracked us up!:rotfl:
