  • Hello Scott

You don't need to paste the snowball, I think you can join the site and save it? I have done so many calculations on that thing!

By over payments I meant can you pay more than the direct debit - with my egg loan I can pay pretty much as much I as want Do Lloyds let you do that?

and how come you don't pay rent? ;)

I think you have done brilliantly to pay off the CC. I paid mine off but have run it up again - it will be gone VERY soon tho!

Think I might even do my SOA again and see where I am

    take care

    Xx

i have a thought as to how to get this debt sorted, i plan on paying my £275 on the 20th as i get payed my monthly wage on the 19th.

i will then spend as little as possible for the month and then a day or two before my payday i will put everything in exept £200 as a safeguard.

what do you guys think? has anyone ever tried such a approach?

i've also been paying £80 per month for the last 5 months in car insurance despite not having a car. they say as soon as i send them the SORN document i will get this refunded. so i shud have an extra £400 to put in soon.

£1000 per month is pushing it for me but it's what im striving for.

that would mean i'll be debt free in august 2011, this is realistically unlikely, so i'm going to make the statement that i will be debt free by christmas 2011!!!!

    wish me luck!!!

anyone else tried the method in my above post?

I am shocked at how much debt you have got in for someone living at home and with your wages your outgoings on social life etc must be huge! But its also very good at you have realised this and are sorting it now before you move out, which is when you will need it! Good luck.
  • And I was chuffed when I found a quid in a pocket this morning.:rotfl:

Sorry I don't have any words of wisdom for you but good luck with your debt busting.

Scott - Don't take this the wrong way but your SOA is rather empty. I know you have said that you live at home, but there is nothing in there for going out or car tax. Have you thought of keeping a spending diary to see exactly what you do spend over the month?
