Really looking forward to the break now - this time tomorrow we'll be arriving at Mum's (it's only an hour away) and we're going in their car, save me driving too:T

My sis, her hub, 3 girlies and dog are coming down on Sunday to see us, so that'll be lovely - fingers crossed for a dry, warm day:)

I'm a bit tired today - was up til midnight reading 'The Secret', I ordered it from Amazon and came yesterday. I kept waking up thinking about it - thinking of positive thoughts to attract good things for me:D

Also, I've been chatting to a guy online (from an awful free dating site) - but he seems really nice. Am far too scared to meet yet, I'm just enjoying sending emails and finding out more about him. Hmmm.....we'll see eh?!:o

Must crack on with my to-do list...here's a few things:
    check banking
    daily scratchcard
    washing on quickwash, mini load
    washing on the line
    ironing
meal from plan tonight - chicken curry
Filo pastry from freezer for girls to make samosas
write next weeks meal plan and shopping list
buy a few snacks/drinks for picnic when we arrive in Devon tomorrow
    hoover downstairs
fill my new shelf unit in my room and tidy up there - going to look lovely:)
    Organise Next returns
jumble is out to be collected
shower and hair wash tonight to save time in the morning!

I thnk that's enough! Off to put the washing out now.
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Ok, I've pinched an idea from CheeryDaff...here is my 'Ta-Da list'...ie, what I've done...not what there is to do;)
    • cleaned bathroom
    • packed our bags for the weekend
    • washing done and on line - needs bringing in now
    • been to Tesco for snacks
    • filled car up with petrol
    • bought birthday present for friend's daughter in T's - a Twilight Eclipse film book - were BOGOF so dd1 bought one too - made it £5.50 each:D
    • filled shelf unit in my room and chucked a load of stuff out
Ok, I now need to dust my room, hoover upstairs quickly, iron a few bits for the weekend, make samosas, do my nails, shower and hair wash....and collapse to watch tv;)
Going to dust my room now, get that finished then bring washing in and do ironing....
I really need to sort out a new signature!

You have been busy - don't forget to have plenty of breaks! Do you find that the more you do the more you want to do? I do. Tidy house = tidy mind. Also nice to come home to a spick and span house.

You mentioning The Secret reminded me that I must order that too after reading about it on Memory Girl's diary. I do believe in karma and a positive attitude breeds positive things.

    Have a lovely time :T

That's where I read about 'The Secret' too! Very inspirational diary is MG's:D
Yes I do find that when I'm busy and productive it spurs me on to do more. I am flagging a bit now - I do forget that I get tired too easily right now (stupid post-op recovery time:o) so might have a lie and read more of the book. I do think positively usually (well, I try) - I think I'm a 'lucky' person and I usually assume things will all work out - and they do:)

I'm quite positive too and I do find that things do tend to work out not always in the way I'd hoped or imagined but nevertheless just fine.

    Morning all:j
That's us back from our few days away - had a lovely time, ate lots and spent too much I think, but girls had fun and that's what I wanted it to be like:D

My niece has come back with us til the end of the week - so that should keep them all busy.

Today I have to take dd1 to the dentist - she's having 2 back teeth taken out so she can have a brace fitted next week, but she now says she doesn't want the brace. Her teeth aren't bad at all, I only want her to have the brace if she's completely sure as it's a 2yr one. Will speak to our dentist when he removes the teeth today - maybe taking the 2 out will give them all some room anyway.

After that I'm taking the 3 of them to the cinema to see Eclipse - Orange 2 for 1, so will only pay for 2 of us. Dinner is going to be chips from the chippy as the film doesnt finish til gone 7.

Going swimming tomorrow - well the girls are, I'll watch with my friend;)

So, that's the plan for the week really. Tesco shopping has just come....£71 eek:eek: But that's for next week too - I have meal planned up until next Fri and have full cupboards and freezer. Girls are with their dad this weekend until Tuesday, so I shall go to my sis for Sat night then come home and MUST do some work:)

Must tidy up a bit before the dentist - yuk, I'm really not looking forward to watching her have teeth out:( Think she's dreading it more, she really doesnt like the dentist:o

Glad you had a lovely time. It's still nice to come home though isn't it, there's nothing like your own bed....

Hope you get on OK at the dentist, I don't envy you that one!
