Another vote for Lastpass. I don't know if it is better than Roboform but works great for me, and it's free.0

I use Roboform for IE, but as I am using Chrome more for browsing now, I have been considering lastpass
But I understand that lastpass stores the passwords remotely on its server, not on the PC like Roboform does - so does this have any security risks?
Also, Roboform can fill in personal details to web forms (name, address credit card details etc) - does lastpass do this too?0 -
RoboForm has a free version,
I just downloaded their rf2go program which is realy handy due to the fact that I use several computers at home and at work.
It's free and portable installs to a memory stick and easy to use....

Regarding Lastpass security see https://lastpass.com/whylastpass_technology.php.
I use it with Firefox but I assume it works same way with Chrome.
Yes it completes forms as well as passwords.0 -
If I recall correctly Roboform only allows you to set up 10 passwords in the free version after the 30 days free trial whereas Laspass is unlimited.0

+1 for Keepeass

Keepass might not be as comfortable as Lastpass, but I don't like the idea of my passwords being stored on a third party server (yes, I read the LP FAQ, but still).
Keepass is available for Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, Blackberry, iPhone, PalmOS, ... You only need to copy the password database file to the device you're using. That means you can have all your passwords available, even without an Internet connection.
To make it more comfortable in Firefox I also use it's password manager and use the Syncplaces extension to sync my passwords between my desktop and my laptop using my own FTP server.0
