I hope the two discount shipping items they have change soon! Really want to place an order but I only order if those items are good and I can avoid paying shipping!

One of my soya milk had split but don't mind as they were only 20p each and my delivery was free

I admit I would have been irritated. I found sticky tape plastered over the tops of the bottles.

My order was a mini United Nations.. the Dettol anti-bacterial soaps were Indonesian, the Tchibo ground coffee, Butcher's dogfood and Nivea are Polish, the olives and white asparagus were Spanish, the Heinz moutarde de Dijon was French and the Halen Mon salt is Welsh :D

Just done my third order. Will split mine with DD. Haven't had any probs so far re delivery (hope I haven't spoken too soon!) My fav thing in this order is Bechemal sauce (makes 5 litres) as I do a lot of lasagne and the sauce is the most difficult!

Me and a few friends are going in together to benefit from the savings. All of us will order items but will take turns in receiving the delivery so we can all get the first free delivery for as long as possible.
My order yesterday came with no probs at all - one of my raspberry syrup bottles had broken and leaked but for 50p I can live without it!
So far all the items i've tried (whether in date or not) have tasted lovely - highly recommended.
Thankyou to everyone for highlighting this fab grocery site!
    Looking for a fresh start

am due a delivery today but unusually not heard anything yet with the time. Lots of bags of doves farm wholemeal bread and 00 pasta flour (and maybe just a few sneaky cream eggs for OH).

Anyone know hoe the referral system works - my parents were impressed with my order so I referred them and sent them the link - what will I get???

I'd like to know this too, I've told loads of people about AF and didn't realise there was a referral system.

This made me laugh, as when I started ordering from Approved foods (must have been 4 years ago) I ordered lots of cous cous as it was a 'bargain' and the family like it. The family soon got sick of it, it became a family joke, and I've STILL GOT SOME LEFT!! Ofcourse, it's fine to eat, and it does get trotted out occasionally as a carb to go with salad, but just be careful and don't get carried away ;)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I have also got *ahem* quite a lot of couscous. Don't mind it occasionally, and it's great convenience food but got heartily sick of it.

I've got a load of it too in different flavours, good thing it keeps just about forever :D

I've taken to mixing it with a drained can of the Valfrutta lentils that were on offer recently, with a bit of olive oil & nice vinegar it disguises it a bit makes a nice side salad ;)
