Have just unpacked my first order today. I was really impressed with the packaging- even the popadums were all intact, which is more than I can say for the ones I see in the supermarkets and won't buy for that reason!
Got some great stuff, like organic flour and muesii, but also managed to order a few (20) creme eggs as well! Only ommission was one of 6 of large packets of trail mix which I will email about.
I have hesitated for ages about ordering but will definitely do so again.

Just a quick note to say I bought the 12 pack (case) of the Sharwoods Thai Red curry paste for £0.01 (should be £10.98) just to see what it was like, and I must say that hubby has just made us a gorgeous Thai curry thanks to these little beauties! I was more than willing to bin the lot but now I will be keeping them and would recommend anyone who likes Thai to by a case before they all dissappear!!

    hi guys,

i realise this is probably somewhere in the 2 massive threads but how do AF deliver?

is it a case of needing to take a day off work to wait in for a courier? and do the tell you the day in advance???? do they deliver Saturdays?

i will have a look see but i don't imagine that i will get through all fo these pages very quickly.

    Hi

They let you know the day before what day it will be delivered on.

On the morning of the delivery they send you a one hour time slot. You sometimes don't get this on the day notification until after 9 am.

There is a space for requests on the final page so you could enter please deliver Wed 1st April. However, from experience they rarely read this!!!

When you get either of the notifications you can change day of delivery which is fine but doesn't stike me as the leanest way to do business as the courier could have already loaded it on the van etc, still, hey ho!

    Good luck

  • I have just had my first approved food order delivered. Fantastic delivery service imo.
You don't book a slot. They email/txt you with a delivery date then you txt back to re-arrange. On the morning of said del day you can track it through DMP they also text you with a time. Mine was between 10.57-11.57!! v.precise.

The only problem with AF orders are making sure you have sufficient storage space! I wouldn't hesitate to re-order, but can't see it happening in the next 12 months lol.

I am an AF addict. I've made three orders already this month and hubby has actually built shelving in our cellar to house it all :p I'm already planning my next order!
My family and friends think i've lost the plot, but they soon appreciate it when they come over and go shopping in our stockroom!!
I have the time to do all the bargain hunting and buying when they dont so this way everyone gets to benefit from the savings. :T

I found the problem was dragging the huge box into the house ! OH has really been pigging his treats as bought in bulk, taking to work every day. Not a good idea !

Love approved foods- it would help though if they placed the parcel inside the door and not on the doorstep- trouble for me if
children are not in as i am disabled and can't drag it in.
