Some interesting stuff on there today, from my point of view. 2kgs of homepride tomato and basil sauce, fancy flatbreads, catering packs of carrot cake mix.

For people who are looking for 'healthy' food on af, there is a new selection of gourmet jars of fruit. It is this range from hawkshead,
    http://www.hawksheadrelish.com/shop/16/index.htm but at £1.79.
Prunes, fruia cotta, damson jam, cumbrian mostarda.
Also some of these dressings - I wish I had looked them up before I put my order in last night as they look great.

Not in the order. WHen they text with a delivery day you can text back to change it to one of the two days after. They also text in the morning to tell you a time, which in my experience is pretty accurate.

  • I am a great fan of Approved Food, I know some of you have had courier problems, but my boxes come all the way to the centre of France and out of over 10 deliveries, just 1 jar didn't make it, but it was in a plastic bag so no other damage.

So foolish me, I decided to give it's rival Food Bargains a go, my advice is never, NEVER tick the box that says you'll let them substitute an item. Most of my order was out of stock and I recieved 56, yes 56 packets of Pedigree Schmackos dog treats when I didn't order 1. As if that wasn't bad enough, each packet of Schmackos was of a lower value than what it replaced. I required a refund of almost £30, I called the warehouse manager and spent nearly an our on the phone and recieved a £5.00 refund!!!

Avoid avoid, sorry Approved Food, I'll never desert you again :A:A:A

I put my first order in this morning to Approved Foods and it's already been shipped :j

I ordered some of the Hak Raspberries, Blackberries and Blueberries, and wondered if anyone else who's ordered them had used them in cake making or are they just too wet.
