Bit obvious, Paul. Or should I call you jo58?0

I've been ordering from Approved Food for ages now and they've only ever got one order wrong. Something I can't remember now was substituted for a pound of tea which I hadn't ordered. I queried it and the whole 99 pence was credited to my PayPal account the same day. Can't say fairer than that. The thing is, I would have been happy to have paid for the tea, no problem. The cost of it was more than the paltry 99 pence. It was very good-quality tea, as well0

LOL! :T Join the club. There are other sites to try out too that arnt so "busy"
i did acually look at a few and even tho one had cheaper postage it didn't have as good prices or selection and was far from user friendly, everyone makes mistakes the real test will be how it's dealt with from now i suppose, i have to say tho, chris messaged me on here last night and i've just had an email from CS so they did get back to me quite quickly considering i did email late in the working day

Just wanted to say, I ordered from approved food last week for the first time and was impressed.Ordered weds morning, got a text fri morning with a 1 hour delivery slot for later that day & the option to reschedule. It arrived in the alloted to time, all present and correct and well packaged. Everything we've eaten/ used so far has been fine, and I will order from them again :-)Word for 2023 …PROACTIVE 🧡 2023 -decluttering campaign 1020/2023 ⭐️⭐️Saving towards paying off car in November…£720/£1500 🚗0

The bags of packing peanuts they have started using recently are the cornstarch ones so can be composted if you don't need them as packing material for any items you post yourself. Technically they are edible too but I wouldn't recommend eating them as #1 they don't taste that nice & #2 you don't know what they have been in contact with so could harbour bacteria.
The simple way to check wether packing peanuts are polystyrene or cornstarch if you are not sure is to place one in hot water, the cornstarch ones will shrink drastically or possibly dissolve completely in a few seconds the polystyrene ones will remain unchanged.
The polystyrene packing peanuts are recyclable however very few places accept them as the recycling process for polystyrene is very specialised so there are only a few places equipped to deal with it.0
