anyone else going to order, or have put an order in?
I must admit i do feel a bit quilty:cool: as i do believe in loyality when it comes to supporting local or independant retailers etc, as its tough enough as it is without a recession going on..Work to live= not live to work0 -
I put one in as missed donut mix when on approved and on bogoff.
plus my youngest eats lot baked beans and year left of date so got 45 tins for 3 quid plus postage. they both differ a lot stockwise, so i dont see it as an either or and ordered twice off approved this week:eek:. im officially stocking up now for xmas new year as then more money for boots 75 per cent off sale without hitting credit card too much.It is not what you give your friend, but what you are willing to give him that determines the quality of friendship. -- Mary Dixon Thayer0 -

AF has the best choices but at the moment there seem to be lots of cleaning products which I can buy for the same price locally, so I'm waiting for bread mix and/or Loyd Grossman pasta sauces to come back.Miggy

Oh dear, I'm now being tempted to go down to M&S and buy a tin of their beans to try out on the family to see if they will accept them as a substitute for Heinz! This is getting out of hand!Miggy

Hmm, I just tried my first Hotbox ravioli and it didn't work
I thought I'd test it at home rather than on a camping trip... the instructions said to wait for 12 minutes after activating, but after 20 minutes it was still completely stone cold so I bunged it in the microwave instead.

Take a look on their forum, some of the hotboxes do not work.

I got someone elses parcel today ( I've rung him -the guy who is waiting for it) It's all smashed up, broken glass, gunge, cardboard boxes have melted. Awaiting a phone call from A F for the past hour. Anyone got a current telephone number in case they don't read my emails before I dustbin the lot?
my 3rd email sent has had an auto reply with this number on it

Foxy, is the Big Brands doughnut mix okay? I noticed it's further past its sell-by than most items. Same for pizza mix - if they still taste good (and AF don't get some newer ones in before I order!) I would like these, but I don't want the waste of ordering something we won't eat.

Just tried the Loyd Grossman Carrot and Coriander soup - 2KG for 99p - and have to say it is one of the nicest soups I have ever had!
Got a nice bit of spice with it and you could easily add some meat or veg and reduce it a bit for a very easy curry that could go with rice.
Anyone got any ideas what to do with the big tins of plums? Could they be used in a smoothie0 -
still no reply from A F . Husband is doing his nut about sticky runny mess all over front porch and door will only open a foot. Visitors & 2 dogs coming to stay tomorrow too.0
