No, no hallmark, mil did travel but only really to Europe and the US, I'm inclined to believe they are fake as the stamp itself looks a bit rough, perhaps I'll take them along when I get the 9k stuff valued.0

Can anyone give me advise on dealing with this company on line. I dont want to send my gold and then get nothing in return0

Oh God John P just because it is a new site does not mean anything. Your endless plugs for Hatton Garden Metals are wearing thin now.
My advice, - and I have said this many times is to stay away from these firms and just use your local jeweller or gold shop. They might pay less but at least you know you have had a fair deal.
I'll leave you with this..

And before you ask I have no connection with Chards.0 -
......and before you ask, I have no connection with Hatton Garden Metals other than that of a satisfied customer.

Analysis Details:-
Although this website appears to be based in Netherlands there are other countries involved and you should review this information carefully and decide if it is as you expect.Although being a new website, does not make it un-trustworthy, as with any new business you should be extra vigilant and do your own research before placing an order or making an investment.
This site is using an anonymous service - which prevents us from identifying the site owner. This can sometimes be just so that the owner does not receive spam, but be aware that many scam sites use this as a method to hide their identify. If this is an ecommerce site - we would suggest you confirm the business address with the website owners.
Instead of these "ad hominem" attacks, how about playing the ball not the man.
If you want to think you are dealing with Hatton Garden, the centre of the UK jewellery business, send off your gold to someone who wants to remain nameless.
BTW I took a look at Church Street on goggle, the nearest I could get was "Creative Support" at number 219 - there is rather a lot of empty retail space on this street in Blackpool.
My experience of local jewellers, was similar to using a pawn shop, they certainly would not be processing the scrap gold themselves, which means they have to send it off to one of these companies who test it and melt it. Why give them a cut?

Wow JP - are you really insinuating that there is something dodgy about Chard?? To me, that looks like what you are trying to do. I just hope you have evidence to back up your claims.
I have never had any reason to use Chard but I know, from the experience of a family member, that they are very straight forward to deal with.
I see that you have not addressed that point that I was trying to make with the link I posted. Here it is again, would love to hear your thoughts on the specific allegations contained in this page??

Here are a couple of independent thoughts for you- The large image on the taxfreegold page shows a 2004 krugerrand their claimed image of krugerrands.org.uk's index page appears to be a 1984 krugerrand and has different lighting.
- The current Krugerrands.org.uk site appears to be totally different to the image shown on the taxfreegold, with a different logo.

I have a 1oz bar of 24ct gold that id like to sell, but most of the information out there is about old jewelry. Does anyone have any advice on the best place to sell my gold? I don't mind selling via a postal gold sites, like Hatton Garden metals (although posting it makes me a little anxious) or maybe going to London's gold district, although I have very little experience with 'haggling'!' Also has anyone used RoyalGoldBuyers website? If so any feedback?
They appear to be based in Germany..eilanne ( German name?)0 -
Hi all, I'm looking for advice regarding getting the best price for selling some SILVER. Most of the messages on here are about gold - is there a different thread I should use for Silver? I have a heavy Silver charm bracelet and a few other bits and I live in London. Please can anyone recommend places that have a good reputation for offering top prices for Silver? Many thanks!0

As silver is not worth as much as gold, then the cost of postage becomes more significant.
When I was selling some gold, I topped it up to the postal limit with some scrap trinkets of silver, they getting the silver posted "free".
