Hi TYO! :j
BBQ is planned for tomorrow mid afternoon..
Not got a single Easter egg..Am quite fussy with chocolate, amd not that keen on all that milk chocolate.. I'll settle down for a few squares of dark chocolate, 70% or above
Just read my electricity & gas meters to send to our energy provider, and noticed that they had a cheaper plan available.. Cue quick email to them to see if we would be able to switch.. We will probably get an answer from them at some point next week..
Off to mow the lawn now I think..

Well froggy you'd be safe in my house- none of that dark chocolate for me so your stash would not be eaten!!
hope the bbq went well today and the weather is holding up - still lovely down here!
good lot of easter eggs for us today so will save money on chocolate spends for as long as I can ration them! :rotfl:0 -
Hi Froggy
I'm having a lovley lazy day and have just spent the best part of two hours reading your diaryIt's a great read and well done on all you have achieved so far and if you don't mind me saying a I think you sound like a really smashing bloke.
I'm sure your deterimination and undoubted skills will bring you the job change you so want, I wish I had half your courage as I've been in a job for a good while now that I don't enjoy but I'm suffering from the 'better the devil you know' fear at the moment
By the way, hope you don't mind me asking but could you let me know which is your favourite Italian restaurant in Manchester, I could see you've mentioned it a couple of times and I have to visit there quite often and I'm always on the look out for a good recommendation; in my experience I often find the restaurants near hotels to be of poor quality, both in terms of food and service, my own theory on this is that they feel they don't have to try too hard as they have somewhat of a captive/migrant audience, if you know what I mean.
Very best wishes
Regards

Hi TYO :j
Am on my way to collect the dark chocolate stash from your house!!:D:D
BBQ was great, very nice food from the local butcher.. We lounged on the decking catching a few rays and it felt great..
Not got a single Easter eggbut I would not eat them anyway, so no loss there...

Afternoon all! :j
Gutted, just wrote a long post and lost it!!
Anyway, weekend was good but just not long enough though.. OH spent most of her weekend decorating and painting the kitchen… I think it needs another 2 or 3 weekends of work though…
The bathroom is approaching completion slowly.. Floor tiles are going in today along with the sink unit & cupboards… Now it’s down to the detail finish… That’s probably the tricky part though…
We are off down south on Thursday after work..and we are going to a friend’s kiddies “royal wedding party” on Friday, and then seeing friends & families over the weekend.. We should be back up North by Sunday lunchtime for more DIY & gardening…
Hope everybody is well and had a great Easter weekend!
