    Good afternoon all! :j

Thanks to ATT, Grateful, LP, The Alchemist, Lois & McChulloch for your very kind messages while I was away..

I hope everybody had a good time this weekend.. Ours was very busy, visiting friends & family down South.. We had a good time and it was nice seeing everybody...We also watched the royal wedding (LP, I declined the invite, I was too busy having fun with my friends ;)), and I have to say they scrubbed up pretty well..Nice to see some modern touches in the Royal family.. Credits to the chief bridesmaid - Pwhoar!! She is a pretty girl, and to Prince Harry for the decorated AstonMartin - sure their Mum would have appreciated..;)

We spent a fair bit this weekend, and this will have to come off the bathroom surplus that we intended for the May OP.. No regrets there, both OH & I enjoy treating our friends & families...:T

Bathroom is progressing nicely.. The fitter will pick up the towel radiator, the extractor fan and spotlights from the trade shop in the morning on the way over and he has a bit of boxing up work to do.. No idea as yet about a finishing timeframe..

OH has almost finished painting the kitchen.. I will post before/after pictures once this is done...

    Cheers

Also sold 4 items on Amazon whilst we were away!! Love it, it just works without me doing anything..
I have been catching up with VO (£3.50) and OP (couple of quid)..
Amazon confirmed that payment of £30 is on its way, Quidco also confirmed £31 on its way too..

    Cheers

Wow Froggy you do really well on Amazon.
I had a look last night at lisitng some books on there but I saw people selling them from £0.01!!! We have about 100-200 books to get rid of and I don't really know if it is worth it on Amazon.

CD's & DVD's go down very well, and its cheap to post.. Books, you need to be aware of postage costs, as it usually wipes out your profits.. I listed all my books on GM and on Amazon as well, but not many takers as yet..
Listing takes literally seconds so you would not waste your time... Up to you... You might be better off flogging your books at a car boot sale...

Bet you saw the mighty Gunners trash the Mancs!! You should see all the long faces in my office today.. We are only 100 yards from old Trafford.. I am the only one with a big grin on my face...

    Cheers

Sold most of my cds, dvds and games now. (although cleared the loft and found all my old master syster, mega drive, N64 etc, brought back some memories! just got to find somewhere to sell them!).

Postage isn't an issue as I would stick it in with works franked mail. But I don't see how or why anybody would sell them for £0.01! We sold some at a car boot on Sunday, but all the good stuff didn't sell but yet the cr*p which I thought nobody would want sold straight away!

I sure did see it, a pity that we were already out of the race (prays for a chavski and united draw followed by two loses on the final day :rotfl:)

Amazon refunds you some of the fee to cover postage (if price is very low) therefore you should always make a profit.. If work takes care of postage, then I would go for it, you have nothing to lose there..

Yep, I can totally see the Gunners takes the title.. Why not, the other 2 don't deserve it!!

    Cheers

Oops..Forgot to say that OH got a payrise.. Unexpected as she was told of pay freezes at the end of last year.. Unfortunately, due to tax changes, most of her payrise has been swallowed up.. Oh well, you can't win all the time...
On another note, I have sold another DVD on Amazon for £6 profit... Got screened out on VO, and managed a couple of polls on OP..

Is it bad to already been wishing it was Friday today??
