Went to the office first this morning but got sent home an hour later due to severe weather..

It's snowing hard down here.. I am glad I don't have to drive in that.. I feel for the people forced to work and hope that you all get home safely.. Take care out there..

Looks like this bad weather is on the way out now. Luckily my time off and the weekend coincided with the worse weather here so driving not too bad. Although it amazes me how fast people are driving in the eraly morning when there could quite possibly be ice on the roads even if the snow has cleared!

    Morning all

    Payday has been and gone..:j:o

Trying to juggle with the different accounts to make sure everything is reconciled properly.. I have fininshed my budget and forecast for 2013 so at least that's one thing ticked off my list..

I am quickly approaching the end end of my 8% FD saver year and am bit short on that, but should be ok by the time they take the last DD mid March..

£21.47 received from £co this morning too.. Free money always welcome around here..:rotfl:

My annual work review had been postponed and will take place this afternoon.. Will see how it goes.. I will feel SO much better once it's all over..

Shopping list is in my back pocket.. I have not been near a supermarket for more than 2 weeks.. I think I have caught Tilly-itis.. I have been living off the freezer :D
Batch cooking sessions will probably follow this weekend..

Have a great Friday all

Work review went so much better than I anticipated.. My grade is 2 notches above what I had in mind.. It will definitely have a positive impact on my bonus & payrise..
On another note, the feedback from colleagues, peers, clients & suppliers was also excellent.. It's nice to hear when hard work is appreciated..
We also talked about the future and the company has a path in mind for me.. I should get more info in the next few weeks..

Food shopping on the way home.. A bit more expensive than usual, but had bulky household items and also ingredients for batch cooking, so that will balance itself out over the next weeks..

    Have a great weekend
