Sorry to hear about possible redundancy - hope you can find something else soon. Any luck with the agencies you were talking about before or has it all gone quiet?0

Hugs Froggy and Princess
what a time you are having of it lately
Re the redundancy , I hear you on that threat having been somewhere where it seems it has been a constant threat for the last 2 yrs! That said, you do have a consultation period and some time to think about the next steps and it sounds like it hasnt been agreat place or one you want to stay indefinitely so maybe a more pressured timescale but sounds like you would be still looking elsewhere anyway?... Totally empathise with the uncertainty and how horrible it feels tho!
Hope your war wound is feeling better now and the dog/owners more like are being dealt with or getting thier act together somehow!
Hope you can have a more relaxing-ish weekend than the week youve had!0 -
The office feels like a graveyard this morning.. Atmosphere is not great
On better news, I have redeemed another £10 Amazon voucher from VO, and I have received the 2 cinema tickets & popcorn combo vouchers that I ordered from Mr T clubcard
Credit card statement has arrived, and a miracle has happened, we think we will be able to stretch ourselves and make a small OP at some point this month..:T:T
OH is out tonight with some clients.. SIL is coming for tea tomorrow night, and I have a local painter/decorator coming over to do some quotes.. OH is away with some friends this weekend, so I have the whole weekend to myself!!

Yes the do was in our property (in our kitchen in fact!!), it jumped the 3ft fence in between the houses, and got inside and was eating Elvis' food
I've been thinking about why the dog must have gone for you ( and sometimes dreaming about it!).
Because of the location of your injuries and the fact it was eating Elvis' food, did you try to take the food from the dog?
I know my old family dog was fiercely protective of his food and we didn't dare go near him when he was eating. However, ours is the complete opposite, although I'm always cautious when she's struggling to eat, she sometimes chases her bowl up the wall, when I put it back for her.
I'm in no way defending the owners - the fence is clearly inadequate.0 -

Overpayment of £300 done this morning.. It feels very good to be back on track.. This should take the unsecured loan nicely below the £4K mark and on track to clear before the end of the year...
Have a great day everybody!
