It seems the OP runs a website concerned with promoting fuel saving products (where this one is featured heavily!! He uses phrases like "the no brainer"!!)

or is in the pockets of Shell.

I have absolutely nothing to do with Shell or any other fuel company so I'm not sure why you are jumping on my back. I run a small website trying to help people save fuel. And as for saying "this one is featured heavily", there are 2 articles on the main website and 1 on the blog, it isn't promoted heavily. And also it has only just been launched so obviously I will give it more coverage on my website.

It was genuine question!! :mad: So I can then report on my website what results people are seeing in the couple of months after it was introduced! Why else would I have started this thread? There isn't a single link in this thread so what am I gaining from this? I only wanted to learn more on peoples opinions, not promote myself!

Well, my local Shell are using Fuelsave and V-Power fuels now. All the old stuff has gone. The new Fuelsave Diesel and Petrol is exactly the same price as before, and my local Shell is still the cheapest place in town.

Journalists/researchers etc break the MSE rules when they try to use MSE like this!

It is featured more than any other fuel company.

Anyway it seems that you fell for the sales spiel.

Has the V-Power changed to this as well? I don't use anything less than 99RON in my car if it can be avoided, but haven't noticed if V-Power was included in this fuelsave thing as well.

V-Power is still the same afaik, but then Shell don't sell 99RON. V-Power is 97RON, the only place that sells 99RON is Tesco.
