Silaqui - I have no idea about the boiler but it doesnt sound good!
We have woken up this morning to the outside water pipes being frozenmeans the bath is full of water that wont go down. I dont know whether to just leave it and hope the pipes de-thaw over the course of the day, or to ring the landlord and get someone to come out and have a look. Would get OH to look but its not in a reachable place and it certainly isnt his responsibility to be climbing up ladders when its icy and he doesnt know what hes doing!

1. You may recall that I paid off my MBNA credit card with a balance transfer - I did this on the 11th November. I paid it off entirely and checked on their website and there was no minimum repayment showing. I was expecting some residual interest for the beginning of November, but today they have taken a min payment direct debit of £43.43! Thinking this was a bit odd, I checked the online banking and I am showing as £43.43 in credit? I need to ring them tomorrow about it, but does anyone have any idea what might have happened? I could understand it if I only just paid it off but it's been nearly a month now?
My mbna card does the same, I paid well over my minimum payment at the beginning of the month and they still took the min payment.
Regarding your boiler, it shouldn't do that but I remember our old boiler used to do that - it had been working perfectly until the first service, then the pressure kept going. Every time we called them out to look at it they claimed it was fine and maybe we need to learn how to use it!!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
