A Payment A Day - Part 9
Comments
-
Hi everyone, I'm going to be joining you probably as of tomorrow.
The CC's are just not going down, in fact, they are going dramatically up. On paper I should be able to pay around £300 debt repayments per month but it just aint happening. All I am doing is paying off the minimums and still running them up.
If I pay one big lump sum per month I lose motivation before the next payment is due so I aim to try and make small payments per day. I have totted up three cards and so far am just over £7k (gulp) plus I haven't checked the fourth one. I did a test payment on Wednesday to Halifax Clarity Card which hit my account today, I'll try and get DH to request some log in details so I can get onto his account (it's in his name only, neither of us spend on it) and I can keep a running total on how much I pay off,Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -
Good total keeping Silaqui.

Ok
so because of my complicated life I have no idea what's coming in and when any more, so have just chucked 14p into the slummy jar.
The work story so far:-
As some of you may know I was unemployed for a while and got a temporary job in March, on not very good money, then got another one on better money but with a fair bit of commuting. They also mucked me about a bit, didn't let me know they were extending my contract until the day before it expired, so I went and got another job, even further away. So now I have the original job, and the new one. The original job pays regularly, but only £300 a week ( a lot to some people but my mortgage is over £900 a month), the other job involves staying in B&B a few nights a week, so have had to pay money out and haven't been paid yet, so hopefully will get paid in the next week or so. Once that money comes through, I should have enough money to clear one cc by Christmas, as its under £500. That then leaves Egg, maybe done by Easter?
Sorry for the long post but thought I'd put down why I haven't been Padding regularly.
Hope everyones keeping warm.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hehe well you did really well to raise that amount like that, no way I could have done it. Are you sure you didn't sell the rights to your kid...?;):p
Is it snowing up there in Scotland? I've just popped out to the car and the car thermometer says -9 here in rural Leics, but no sign of any snow!
