Of course!!!Plus it's not every day your friend gets married is it??
My hairdresser phoned me yesterday to say that their shop has closed  one of the partner's decided to pull out and the other 2 couldn't afford to buy him out! So she was ringing round all clients to say she was going mobile - great I thought - I asked her how much she'd charge - she's only going to knock a fiver off what they charged in the shopeven tho she'll be using my elec/hot water!!!hmm so think I need to find a new hairdresser now:(

That is terrible!! I don't know how much she charges (obviously) but the one that I use who is mobile and another my friend uses charges £15. Which, thinking about it is probably still too much but I like what she does and in town it would be more like £30-40 for the same thing!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Wow that's cheap! Mine charge £45 but that's for cut/highlights. So she'll charge £40!! Thing is she's been doing my hair for the last 5-6 years and I like the way she does it! I'm very fussy about my hair lol Some of the good hairdressers in town charge over £60 :eek:Debt @ LBM - £25,722 Debt now - £11,811 DFD - April 2012

 Morning everyone
Thanks for all your advice yesterday....and yes, it makes sense to apply for the job and see how it goes....
I am quite excited today, also I've just done a mystery shop this morning on the way to work which paid for my train ticket.
I like doing offsetting and padding. Next week me and OH are having the first of our British Gas free three swims. So if you haven't heard about it pop over to their website.....
Anyhoo must go
Love Sassers x

So, it might be worth just paying her then? I don't know how much it would be for highlights too. Hair is the industry to be in!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

I don't know what to do - it means I'll have to tidy up before she comesJust think to begin with she might have dropped her prices a bit more than a fiver!! Anyway I really wanted my hair doing for my birthday on Saturday but am skint and unless I get loads of money off eveyone for my b'day it'll have to wait until next week!!! It feels like I am finding a new grey hair everytime I look in the mirror lately

Hi
I have been MIA but I'm back!!
I have made some PAD's of £30
Weight wise - I put on another 2lb  so I am back to what I was.
However on Saturday DH and I started the Slimming World plan, have got lots of 'free' food in and it seems to be going well. Weight in will be Sat am.
Really need to lose about 1st in 6 weeks, doubt I can do it but needs must - maybe the week before I will do a detox diet!!:rotfl:
