I've never had a sauce with gammon, well unless you count Mayo as a sauce lol0 -

was just planning to have mash and veg with it as an alternative to a roast - I like the idea of parsely sauce - is it just white sauce with parsely in it? I've only every had it years ago when my nan made me eat those boil in the bag fish in parsely sauce things - yuk!0 -
Mustard and apple sauce is lovely with gammon or as others have said parsley or mushroomBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

My mum often did bacon, mashed potatoes and garden peas as a evening meal. She always put a dollop of mint sauce on the bacon
