    Hi

    I often do a leek and orange sauce. Its a Sophie Grigson recipe.

    Its the same basis as a white sauce but cook some leeks in the butter before you add the flour and add some orange juice instead of some of the milk. I also often add a spoon of dijon mustard as well. It is delicious !

    Mustard sauce, parsley sauce, apple sauce would be my choices.

    I am having pasty things (kinda like cornish in style) made with leftover gammon cut into cubes, and I plan to serve a midly cheesy sauce with that (and some mash).
    Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

    My mum always served ours with parsley sauce as kids but when my kids have any roast/cooked dinners they drown everything in mint sauce.
