I don't know why I said currently... it's not likely to change, only the height..0

Hi,
well that seems a quick and easy solution, the only thing is 2m is a bit over the 6ft mentioned, and if neighbours wanted to be picky.......
Doesn't the wee link thingy tidy things up.0 -
Ok, I see your point here... Out of interest, am I right in thinking you can add trellis ontop of a 6ft fence... how would screening fit into that ...
And yes, the links do look much nicer.0 -

Hi,
what about adding the trellis, then blanking off your side with panels, bit more work though,0 -
But surely they could still complain as we'd be filling in the gaps? I'm not sure if it might be we are allowed 2m high here. We are in New Forest, hants. Will look at the council website.0

Hi,
they may complain, and might cause a wee bit of disharmony, but as long as you are not breaking any regulations, there is not much they can do.
It's nice to get on with neighbours, I'm doing well this summer with new neighbour, he has a greenhouse and loads of tomatoes, so no probs there.0 -
Yeah, our neighbours... not so neighbourly.. hence the higher fence needed/wanted. Struggling to find fence height details on council website..0

Just phoned council, allowed 2m! YEY! B&Q here we come.0
