Hi Cheri
So sorry to hear about your accident but you and Moo have survived almost intact.
Great news that you have picked such a fabby Dr, they are worth their weight in gold :T The other option is CRUSE if the Dr can't sort you out some help quickly. Losing anyone is difficult and some of us need to talk it through with someone that is not emotionally involved in our lives. I personally think it is good to talk
I hope your friend is OK, my OH had a heart attack at 40 and is still going strong at 60.
Sending you, Moo and your friend hugs

Gosh Cheri, what an awful time of it.
I can well imagine that you are really shaken up by it all. I've not been in a car crash but have been in minor bike things and with them, I've been fine at the time but then afterwards I've been in floods of tears. I think that sometimes it comes out afterwards, all the shock etc.
And it needs to come out!
Glad you've found a good doctor and make sure you don't go back to work until you're properly better.
Take care of yourself and Moo xxI've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

So sorry to hear about your friend as well, cheri - there's an absolute storm come down on your head, hasn't there
glad you've got a good doctor tho - and I had a little laugh at what Pippajo wrote too.

Sorry about all this Cheri - I just cannot find the words to say anymore. Hope your friend is OK. As to the bereavement councelling - hope you take the offer. A friend who suffers from depression and is studying it told me recently that unresolved bereavement (when people have not allowed themselves to grieve) is a prime cause of depression.
Look after yourself

Cherisong... I'm glad that you and moo are ok, and maybe..just maybe.. this enforced 10 days off is what the universe is telling you.Now young lady be a lot kinder to yourself in the coming months and look forward to your holiday. There is someone out there who will have 'the lad' for the time you are away.... just sorry I'm working and unable to help this time.

- see you can still smile!
At least you didn't write off a police car like my DH did one Christmas Eve. He was taken to the police station - he called my dad rather than his dad to go fetch him. 7 cars crashed on black ice in thick fog on the same corner - he hit the car that had been clearing up the other crashes!0 -
Oh boy Pippa, way to go with OH. Christmas Eve too! Yes I do still have the ability to smile. If I go more than a week without finding something to smile or laugh at then I am in real trouble arent I?
I am just watching Xfactor results on iplayer. Another smile Wagner is goneSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
A baby 4x4 with bars can do quite a bit of damage, even at slow speed!
I am smiling because I have managed to completely miss the X Factor and I'm a celebrity and Strictly :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Nope dont do celebrity. Like Strictly. As I dont own a telly I dont watch every week but I do dip in and out. Feeling sorry for myself always leads me to X factor or Strictly because they are total zonk out watching. Usually makes me smile. Strictly will be for tomorrow I think. For tonight I am being really DOH and watching X factor and Xtra factor.
Just had a call. Friend is very poorly but not a heart attack PHEW! They think it is a diabetic attack, he didnt know he had diabetes thoughSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Thats better news in a roundabout kind of way. At least its something that can be worked on and controlled.0
