Well, I have had a bit of a relaxing day today. Deliberately not done anything with regards to decluttering. Waking up at 4am thinking about what I could do next made me realise that I was getting a bit obsessed so I put things back into balance today.

I got £23 back from work for my eyetest that I had a couple of weeks ago because I need glasses for the computer so quite happy about that. However I still havent had my expenses from 3 weeks ago and it is quite a lot of money so I must chase that up on Monday.

Max went to the vets and got the all clear. He is ok after his scuffle but I did have to pay for his boosters so that cancelled out my refund. But at least I was money neutral there.

Fence posts have arrived, cant wait to get some privacy, get the shed up and then I can start renovating all of my furniture projects. Cant wait.

Spent a very relaxing and therapeutic afternoon in the kitchen cooking and baking so I felt very happy. OH arrived home for the weekend and this is the last time we will spend together for a month so I expect I wont be around much over the weekend. He is currently snoring away on the sofa next to me. Bless, he does a lot of driving and is exhausted.

All in all this has been a very productive week. It will definitely slow down next week as I am working away. My friend is coming through to Anglesey to spend some time with me and then coming back home with me for a few days. It will be great to see her as I havent seen her for over a year. Pity I have to work and she will have to amuse herself during the day.
    TADA list
    • got up
    • got showered
    • put the bins out
    • made breakfast
    • phoned the fence people to amend the order
    • phoned the bank because the fence people couldnt get the payment authorised - spent 30 minutes trying to make the girl understand a very simple question. Got frustrated because she kept answering a question that I wasnt asking!
    • washed dishes
    • brushed and mopped kitche
    • took delivery of lovely fence posts
    • took Moo for a long walk to the forest
    • took the car to the jet blast washer at the garage (not very MSE but worth every penny) Must get a new gun for my jetblaster
    • made lunch
    • ate lunch and washed dishes
    • took Moo to the vets
    • walked along the prom with Moo so didnt read my book today
    • stopped off at Mr Ms for a few bits for tea
    • Made a lentil and cheese loaf
    • made spiced fruit loaf buns for breakfast
    • made a cheese sauce
    • batch cooked vegetarian lasagne for 2 weeks
    • planned meals for next week when friend is staying
    • ironed uniform for next week
    • packed bag ready to go on Monday
    • Ate tea with OH
    • listened to tonights prom. One of my favourite pianists Paul Lewis playing Beethoven

So I want to end the week on this
What you get by reaching your destination is not nearly as important as what you will become by reaching your destination.

I still have a way to go to my destination. But I am starting to enjoy the trip, thanks to all of you lovely people who are supporting me. Thank you.

Give her a To Do List to work through....:rotfl:

Considering you were having a relaxing day today you certainly got a lot done!

    Enjoy your weekend.

Wow, everyone sure has been busy. I'll have a proper read over the weekend and post afterwards.

I can feel lots of positivity here... :j

Good idea, and she is just the kind of friend who is only too happy to amuse herself and she would be thrilled if I asked her to do anything. I am really looking forward to some girly time.

I find baking and cooking very relaxing and therapeutic so I never see that as a chore. But yes I did get more done than I anticipated. That said I really have relaxed this weekend. Hence no TADA list yesterday

    Hi Micron,

yes busy bees would sum us all up. I know that I am a little competitive but not in a sense of competing with other people, more I like to compete with myself, so my TADA lists spur me on to try to do more the following day. I did however realise that it was getting out of hand the other morning so I have slowed down this weekend.

    8. “Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.”
    7. “Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.”

    3. “When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.”
    2. “When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.”
    1. “Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.”

Something for me to ponder over the next day.

    I like those two most.

I must delve deeper into the Dalai Lama.

I hope your pondering brings everything you want, and some :)

Yes, they are my two favourite quotes. I would recommend reading some of his books. He also has a facebook page if you are on there. I like getting his messages.
