Spent a wee while pulling off old architrave, door framing and skirting. The architrave was nailed on with 40mm brads. I moved forward to get a better grip on it and stood on a piece I'd just taken off....with the nail pointing up....with my crocs on..... I had to pull it out of my foot and my foot is throbbing now. tbh - I truly believe that alcohol will kill all bugs and viruses! certainly helps pain control with my disability! and is more fun than tramadol.
I hope your foot is ok alias - I have heard of people who had really nasty infections from stepping on nails - hope you are ok but keep a careful eye on that wound ok?
