Lmao! Dh was just waiting for them to open and saw the same manager in the store as in the other store he went to yesterday 20 mins away!! So i told him not to even bother he must be an area manager or something. I may go later though
OH NO! Lol! Things we do for the Jessie doll hey! LOL!0 -
They don't have to sell you a mispriced item. Some stores do it out of goodwill but they don't have to legally. If it's a blatant error like this you have no chance. I've had orders cancelled online before but I've never come across this refusal after you've paid. It's like the catalogue companies charging extra weeks later if you've used a discount code you shouldn't have. There's bound to be something in contract law that let's them out of giving you the item due to obvious error. I don't feel comfortable going to the store and taking advantage because I'm well aware it's a mistake and it's morally wrong to take advantage. I'd love to get a load of stuff cheap but I just can't bring myself to do it. Id be in there shaking and bright pink and needing to vomit. Damn being brought up to be totally honest.0

Someone just tried it & replied on hukd saying that it didn't work. I always miss out on the good glitches.0

Even with the original deal where the cheapest is free, if you bought say 3x £80 train sets and then ebayed them, and all 3 sell at the price you paid, that's still £80 you'll have made for free, right? Even if you sold them for £70 each then thats still £50 profit?
Not taking into account postage etc etc but it's just an idea of course!
Already one on ebay for £60 + £5 p&p so I'd guess that's an argos buyer
Shame my local argos up the road only has 2 left to collect! They have more buzz lightyear dolls though, hmm! 0 -

You could buy three of these train sets if you wanted with or without the glitch as you would be paying exactly the same as they are all the same price hence the cheapest item is the most expensive. If you bought two £2.99 cars and the train set and repeated this order two more times then that would be making some money.Competition wins - 09/03 - £500 ELC Vouchers 11/04 - Lush Goodies 21/04 - Gillette Fusion Gift Pack 22/05 - Mirrors DVD 29/05 - Return Flights to London & £500 29/05 - £50 Homebase Gift Vouchers 20/09 - Remote Control Helicopter 28/09 - £225 Bingo Win 05/10 £25 Photobox Vouchers 16/09 £90 Cash 30/11 £29 Cash 03/01 £20 03/04 Fifa Football :T0 -
Of course, but disregarding the glitch, to me it isn't worth ebaying the cheap toys because of the time and effort involved for not much gain. With the 3 trains you have maximum gain

Also Lego appears to hold its resell value well in my opinion. The Buzz and Woody £50 dolls would probably be the next "worthwhile". Things like the digital camera etc just seem like overpriced tat to me.
I've put my money where my mouth is and have reserved 3 trains at my next nearest argos
If you have the money available to spend in the first place, and are prepared to take the risk, then i'd say its worth it.0
