pavlovs, if your problem is the same as mine then it is much easier than it sounds. (put it this way if I can do it, anyone can).

follow redux instructions by right clicking the link in post#15 to open in a new window.

then make that window as large as you want by dragging the bottom right corner out. Dont close that window but close the original window instead.

Then close the second (dragged open) window last.

Once you open a new window next time it will open in the new size.

    Hope that was clear (ish!)

But these instructions are for secondary new windows within IE, Pavlov is first trying to get the very first window maximised by default.

Did you expand the tray first, so you know for definite it is not in there? if you don't expand it first it will be in there but hidden.

It works for me, is all I can say.

right click on the tray chose open folder the folder should open over your desktop, grab the IE icon from the desktop and drag it into the folder. It should say "you cannot do this would you like to create a shortcut to the item (IE) instead" click yes. Tha should now be it in the quicklaunch tray, close folder.
  • if you've locked your taskar this could stop it, right click on taskbar to check.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?
