    OP why not decide on which feels comfiest or has most leg room or highest ride height. THere will be something that will make one more suitable for you.

    Ride height would be the deciding factor for us (farm track which eats VW sumps)

    I've driven the Mazda 2 - relative has it.
    I thought it was OK and she likes it.

    I'd take the VW Polo thanks.

    Because its a Kia? ;) If it was someone elses money, I'd get the alfa 147. My own, either the hyundai or mazda.

    Well Hyundai and Kia are effectively the same company, Kia have 7 years warranty, Hyundai's have 5.

    In what way?

    I find it decent fun to drive, economical, carries four adults no problem, can do long mway journeys in comfort.

    Some people may find the ride a little firm.

    I would have thought the Ka was a size smaller. I think it looks horrible.:o
