If you had the choice of a vw polo, a hyundai i20 or a mazda 2, which 1 would you go for, im leaning towards the polo purely because VW's hold the value. Ive been on honest johns site and read the reveiws for the 3

The question is do you choose a car that could give you the best resale value or great value to money spent.:)

The Hyundai i20 will still have 2 years warranty after the warranty has expired on the others.

    Assuming you mean new cars.

    How about the Honda Jazz?

VW Polo is a lot nicer than the Hyundai, imo.

That doesn't make up for the Hyundai 'driving experience', I've driven far too many Korean made hire cars (including an i20) and they were not enjoyable drives.

If you just want a car (and don't really care what the drive is like), with long warranty go for the Hyundai.

If you want a more enjoyable drive, with better resale value go for the Mazda or VW.

But will the VW or the Mazda go wrong in those 2 years?

My experience of Mazdas is that it won't.

I agree, the Mazda probably will not, but if it does....:D

There is a good chance that the VW will tho'.

Mazda is my first instinct. You'll enjoy owning it and using it more than the Hyundai and it most likely be more reliable than the Polo.
I would check NCAP ratings too. You cannot put a price on safety.
Hoping this year is better than the last. :)
