Tag - it's genetic. My 'baby' sister, who does not iron (see facebook group) also matches pegs...
now HOW is not being tidy not sane?
And a recent visitorcommented on tidiness/cleanliness of hovel.
Me n you Valli on the same wavelength, I love to look out at my washing with the *matching pegs*, I will not *stamps foot* get into a bed with un-ironed covers, I don't iron T-Towels only cos they are not cotton, they don't need ironed, I iron jammiesand sometimes pants
and DS's vests
I will clean whether the sun is shining or not :rotfl:
Oh and I loved the story of the Bicycyle lock and falling asleep :rotfl: (Yes when newbies read that they will know that you are the [STRIKE]in[/STRIKE]sane one:rotfl:

Oh, and macpep, Jinky is still about, she's mostly on the Arms these days but she was in OS yesterday posting. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -
Afternoon all
Happy Birthday Boddy
I've done yesterday's and today's lists. I can't remember if I posted yesterday.
One load of washing done, most of it dry and hopefully the rest will be before the rain gets here.
Hope everyone's OK.
All the best to Pigpen and Toots.0 -
Have decluttered a bacon roll and a cup of tea, S&S'd the kitchen. Taken delivery of Newtons new hidey hole/scratching post/cat tree thing and built it.
Also had my food delivered from Waitrose, then spent 10 minutes on the phone to customer service trying to explain to them why i was not happy. I ordered 2kg of chicken for £16.48, they delivered 1kg of chicken and charged me £13.58, their policy is to charge you the lower price if they substitute things, and the guy on the phone argued that they had charged me the lower price. Yeah, but for half the amount:mad: Went round in circles for a bit then he said he would phone the store and see what they say. He really didnt get why i was annoyed:mad:
Grr, rant over, going to clean stuff while i wait for them to call.
ETA - they have just phoned back and are refunding me the difference. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
