Morning all, spent most of yesterday working and did nothing from the list but will have a crack at them today.Craftyscholar wrote: »There is no point in keeping it if you don't know what it is :rotfl:gunsandbanjos wrote: »I'll be decluttering more than flying today i think. I'm with Lamewolf - a flinger, not a hoarder but now we are in danger of living in a bare house, Pigpen really shouldn't encourage me to throw more stuff out, the kids daren't stand still too long
Valli - if you are sane then I'm definitely ok- love the 'lay line' but you really should know better, we all mutter your mantra 'don't put it down, put it away' because I say it so often
Special healing thoughts for Toots, Lady-L, and Diva and hope the trotters calm down Pigpen along with all other squeak related discomfort.

Morning all,
It's not been that good a morning so far. We didn't get up until 9 which was lovely. I went out to feed the rabbits and notice the Dw has leaked all over the utility room floor. I fiddled around behind it and then the leak stopped. Then i went to wash my hands and there was no water, i thought i'd turned it off with my fiddling so started fiddling again which made no difference. So i had to get dressed and go and see the builders working on the site next door and they have infact broken the water pipe again. I've lost count of the amount of times they've done it now. It seems everytime someone gets on a digger they break something, the water pipes countless times, the waste pipe and my fence. Someone has gone to get some parts and it will be fixed soon i hope.0 -
Thanks for the tip GnB! Yes, it is Oven Pride that I am using. The racks are now all bagged up and steeping in the fluid and the remainder is in the bottom of the oven...... This'll shock OH.....
Sorry Mumto5, I 'lost' three of your five when I got my 'mums' mixed up for the HHC at 9.30...... Sorry, if I shocked Mumto2 that she was doing an HHC.... So many new names to learn........
The HHC was fruitful and I am now decluttering my second cuppa whilst browsing my list of music to add to ipod for future HHCs:D.
Just read Vallis post on what FLY means - and it is very relevant to me as I struggle with the concept!
Sorry to hear about your builder problems Holly - had something similar myself. However the problems seem to have stopped - the builder's gone bust so we are left with 6 inhabited houses at the back of us and 5 empty - some half finished - ones.....Everything in moderation..............including moderation..............0 -

Jan, these people keep stopping and starting everytime he runs out of money. There's 2 finished houses people are living in, 4 mostly finished houses and i think they're digging the foundations for more. They didn't take the waste drain into consideration though when they were building as it's almost level with the back door of one of the houses. I'm not sure how they're going to sort that out. The gardens are the tiniest i've ever seen and they'd struggle to even put a rotery line up.
OOo the water's back on, i suppose i'd better do something now i have no excuse. Coffee first though, i'm lacking in caffene today.0 -
Were not long up and I think HRH would have slept on if it wasn't for the postman! My jobs for today are get the kitchen done as it's a tip and clean the bathroom as it's grotty.
Very quiet in here this morning DS1 is in bed and DS2 is staying for a few day with Auntie so it's only me and HRH up even Mr Mac is sleeping in the hall.
First things first I'll stick on some clothes run out to the caravan and get the washing that's left out there and make a start on it then I will start the kitchen! Just remembered must bring the stardrops up from the caravan.Funfairs list of daily dreads

What most people need to learn in life is how to love people and use things instead of using people and loving things0 -
Holly - seems we are experiencing similar problems. The builder managed to buy an extra strip of land, and he put one extra house on the site. The local council objected, but he got it on appeal. Then the credit crunched and he's now gone bust - all for the sake of one house!! People in the village are laughing at the fact, but the problem is, we still have a building site behind us!! Luckily for us, the worst problem we have at the moment is the unkempt gardens - weed seeds being blown all over our gardens . Not as bad a problem as yours but just adds to annoyance........!!Everything in moderation..............including moderation..............0
