JO-JO - Madness! I am very jealous. I saw them at Finsbury Park when England beat Spain on Penalties in the European Championship (think it was about year 2000). Now I come to think of it I think that was the last time England won a football match.

Vanilla - I read your comment about the blind man coming and you tidying up and thought why would she tidy up for someone who can't see.:o I worry myself sometimes at my own stupidity! Think I need another cup of tea.

Mumofjust2 - you're remarkably chirpy for someone who's had so little sleep! :D

I had a better night's sleep. DH went away early this morning. He brought me a cup of tea but it was cold when I woke up at 6.40. He's back on Thursday which is our wedding anniversary.

DD2 is asking for more breakfast so I'll do that then need to get dressed and tackle the lists.

    Anyone for HHC at 9am?

JennyJ - I would be dead on my feet as so little sleep!! How on earth do you do it?? I was watching Lolita last night to about 1, but had to stop watching it because it actually became uncomfortable to watch? Disconcerting subject........

I'm not looking forward to this day as it means I have to tackle my oven...... I have put it off for ages, but really should do it now before it's beyond help!! I bought one of those degungers (the one with the bag!) but not sure about the rest of the oven. I know it is a self-clean ( I wish!!!!) so I have to be careful about the sides, but I think the top and bottom are ok to attack? Has anyone used this product before and any tips/traps?

Any other hints on cleaning the oven? All gratefully received!! :D

will be joining Mumof2 for HHC at 9! My first 'joint' one :j <- me doing the HHC!

I like the declutter the coffee cup :rotfl:Mine's just about done, so see you later F.ladies!

Mumtofive-yes I am aren't I;) Not so sure I will be by tonight though. Need to see his ex this afternoon. That should be fun.

Must clean my oven today and the microwave could do with being done. May see what I can get my children to help with.

Is it Oven Pride you are using? If it is, you use half the bottle on the racks and pour the other half on to the bottom of your oven and leave it for a bit. It is amazing stuff. My oven racks do not have a mark on them:T And when i was using it i wore my rubber gloves a it is really potent stuff. It does a great job but you have to be really careful with it.

My blind didn't fit, it was too long. :( So there to call back again between 5 and 6.
Well at least the kitchen is tidy. :j Hubby didn't get up eventho he promised to help, the cattle still need done and the tiles took off the window sill. Suppose i should just get on with it.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
