I declared war on the pantry and won! Got sick of just juggling stuff about yesterday so emptied the whole lot on to the floor and sorted it. I now have a dedicated pan shelf, cleaning shelf and one for random boxed stuff all looking organised :) I might actually be able to find stuff, I found 200 cigarettes I thought I had lost last year. Best bit is a bin bag full of flingables!

I now have a hope in hell of keeping my kitchen tidy! Well once it is finished being tidied. Asda man just been, put the frozen veg etc away so best go sort the rest before I got to collect the boys at 5 ish
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hows is everyone today?
Piggers what a nightmare you have had. I'd put in a seriously bleeding snotty letter in the NHS authority about this. You SHOULD be in hospital being treated. Makes me so angry thinking about all the hell your going through.
Hugs to toots, diva and LL xxx

Well i'm totally shattered as spent all weekend partying and i'm suffering for it and so is the bank balance. Its going to be a quiet night in for and OH tonight, we might watch a film and pas out. But we did really enjoy ourselves as its the first we've been without the boys since DS1 was born, 10 years ago.

List time, then going to crack on with it.

Reporting back from 5 hours flying at work. Everything has been dragged from desks/tops of filing cabinets/cupboards, shelving etc onto tables in the centre, so the cleaner can get to all the accumulated dust.
I've started sorting, putting stuff to keep into different categories and flinging the rest. I'm half-way through and flung lots! :T I'm hoping to finish the flinging tomorrow, so I can start sorting my storeroom and setting up a proper system. I've got about 4 1/2 hours tomorrow and probably the same on Wednesday, followed by 5 hours on Friday. Go me!
Cuppa decluttered, so it's lists/extras/tea/bathtime/homework now (not in that order).

Jan59 - that must have been some drawer. Your post made me smile.
    FFP - well done! :T
Pigpen and toots - hope you are both doing ok.

We're supposed to attend a CAMRA branch meeting tonight, but I really cba. We do need to hand over some Pubs Officer stuff from when Mr LW held the post, though. I may well see if I can persuade him to go on his own.;)

It's 'orribly humid today, which is making me feel like a damp dishrag - much as I dislike thunderstorms, I wish we'd have one, just to clear the air a bit. Cue some antics with the Rainmaker, perhaps??:D:rotfl:

    Hi all
I'm still here, but doing more lurking at the moment than posting. Things are hectic, but the house is starting to look much better - I've been decluttering daily since I 'disappeared' and I'm starting to see the floor in each room!

Anyway, I thought I'd start doing the lists this week....here's what I've done today (if it's gone, it's done):

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three
HHC in the hallway.. sort those treasures brought home from school! and other mess!!

    Extras
    1. Vacuum AAALLLLLL the way up the stairs
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Level Two
    Scrub cupboards, appliances and kickboards!
Scrub inside cupboard doors.. and do one cupboard thoroughly!
    Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean fridge and see what needs using first

    Extras
    1. HHI
    2. Clean out the grill pan!
    3. Clean oven if it really needs it.. or just do the hob..
    4. Wash lightshades, cooker hood and change any manky filters!
In addition, I've made a start on clearing the patio...there were hundreds of weeds growing up through the slabs and an accumulation of dead plants in pots and empty pots, buckets, etc, etc. I've still got quite a bit to do, including the removal of the cold frame which, frankly, never gets used....

I hope everyone is OK - and Pigpen I hope things are going OK for you...try and take it easy. I don't know the ins and outs of what's been happening with your healthcare team, but if you feel they've let you down, you need to make some noise.

And, sending some hugs to anyone who needs one.

    Take care
    D

I'm sure hex will point out that there is a rule that says you should never move a sleeping cat... so the ironing will have to wait :p

    Hi,

I've been to Curves, Ds2 was mostly good and was making me laugh. I could see him through the window copying the exercises we were doing. I've had a much needed shower and have just put tea on I'm starving now.
