:eek:Yuck, yuck, yuck. DS (aged 3) just called me and said 'there's something horrible in here!'. It was another slug sliming across the TV table...2 inches long...aaaaarrrggghhhhh. I've not seen one in the house before...just the slime trail evidence....:eek:

And I've already cleaned the sitting room today!

Think I'll clean it all again and see if I can find any more holes to block up...

    Sending vibes Piggers xx

Just realised that there are massive gaps where the top of the skirting meets the wall. Slugs must be getting in from the cellar beneath. I feel a trip the the DIY store coming on...

    Back from London.

Some **** is parking in my spaces so I have blocked them in, only to be told by the driver of a van, it's ok well be gone in 2 mins, I said fine, but I'm not f***ing moving my car again, so the van driver has just driven over a high kerb edge we have around here!!!! I get so fed up of it. I am now thinking of a nice notice this week under the wiper blades, then next week supergluing it on the screen! and I have asked nicely several times before for them not to park in my spaces!

 I can be up in 3 hours, to yell at people if you want!

Jan59 - Wow! that was quite a collection. (wonder what I would find in my downstairs desk drawers ) Trouble is I suffer from 'it might come in handy' itis.

    LR tidied if not cleaned.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Checking back in after a weeks absence. Have let the house go to wrack and ruin again but making up for it today! So far I have-

    Put on washing
Unloaded loaded and switched on dishwasher
    Cleaned two bathrooms
    Tidied and swept lounge
Cleared both lounge windowsills of 'stuff'
    Cleaned kitchen worktops
    Swept and mopped kitchen floor
Turned down all beds to air

Phew. Even if I do nowt else, that seems to be enough for today!

Pigpen seems to have gone quiet so hopefully she is getting some kind of care. I am in Kirklees and the maternity care here is so stretched I went elsewhere to give birth. Shocking.

spent twenty minutes in the girls room and found a huge bag of clothes which are too small for the youngest, so sorted out those that can transfer to a boy (not too pink for baby) and got the rest sorted to go to Sil for Nieces

Yey flying done for the day. That is my aim, fly in the morning, lunch, declutter in the afternoons and gardening.

I've had my friends girls this morning so DS3 has popped to their's now for a few hours. He has a bit of an upset tum so hope he'll be ok, friend knows.

FFP well done on your trip out

Cosmomo good luck with the slugs

KazW can you not get those post things installed? It would drive me mad too.

To the intray for me for my first 15 minutes paperwork.
